have to wait for weeks just to see a doctor even when you try to phone your on hold for 30 min and there opening times are wrong I had called a few times at 7.30 to here a message saying there closed
Absolute rubbish st annes drs 4weeks for an appointment I suffer with bipolar disorder and depression . Iv a really bad back cant get an appointment til the 17th of august time to find another dr I pay for my prescriptions and my taxes that pay these there wages ! 4 weeks is disgusting ! People waiting to see somebody up to 4 weeks cancer patients up to 6weeks this drs needs a better system and obviously better staff !
This new prescription ordering service is fine if you have your head screwed on. I dutifully picked up my login details 2 months ago, and all went smoothly. But I've put the paper 'somewhere safe'. So now I have to repeat the whole procedure ( I get my prescriptions every 2 months). I am computer savvy. This must have caused huge inconvenience to people older or less computer savvy than me. For years I have just been able to pop into the chemist, pick up my prescription and tick for the repeat items. I can't see how this saves anything, because I'm just doing the same thing, except I have to log in and order again every 2 months. Fine if you're organised, as I clearly am not. Login detains? Pah!
Update: Thanks! Prescription request rejected. Usual heavy-handed holier than thou attitude. What now? Run out? I guess so. Not sure I even want to keep taking the tablets anyway.
given up trying to see anyone.
had surgery for cancer, yet still have to wait 5 weeks to see anyone,
pointless
Takes ages to get through as no call waiting in place. Can take over 4 weeks to get an appointment with any doctor. Longer for specific doctor. On the plus side doctors are good - if you can get one.
Always been helpful and approachable.
Can be difficult to get through on the phone when they are busy... But that's life.
