St. Barnabas Centre was opened in November 2007 as a modern purpose built community hub.

We house St. Barnabas Church and St. Barnabas Nursery as well as being home to many local community groups including the Darby and Joan Club, St Johns’ Ambulance and Danesmoor Youth Club.

Last week we received a fantastic donation of approx 400 Easter Eggs from our friends at Iceland Clay Cross. We have spent the past 7 days distributing these eggs to our community groups who cater for the children in our community. The following groups all received eggs which have/will be handed out: St Barnabas Pre-School, Danesmoor Youth Group, Phoenix Karate, Stagestars theatre group, North Notts Ju Jitsu, St Barnabas Church, BKKA Beginners Kickboxing, Chesterfield Home Ed Group and Sunflowers. From all of us here at the Centre we would like to say to Iceland Clay Cross a massive thank you!
