St Barnabas Northolt Park

About St Barnabas Northolt Park

One of the wonderful things about Jesus is that he loved being with people; men, women, children, rich and poor alike. In fact he gathered together a most unlikely community, made up of very different people. Yet, because he was at the centre, this unlikely community found a sense of togetherness in being with Jesus.
Being with Jesus together is at the heart of what we want to do at St Barnabas. It expresses a lot about our vision, our history and our future.

St Barnabas is a local Church of England parish church in Northolt Park. We are nearly all local people and are from all sorts of walks of life; health visitors, teachers, managers, health care assistants, caterers, drivers, IT workers, civil servants, retail staff and more. We are also of all ages and backgrounds. Some of us have been Christians for years, while others of us are just beginning to explore the Christian faith. Many of us have personal stories to tell of what our faith means to us. You may want to find out more about what Christians believe. For all of us, however long or short a time we have been on the journey of faith, we are all still learning, still travelling and still awestruck by the good news of God coming amongst us in Jesus Christ.

As a local parish church we want to be rooted among the people of this diverse neighbourhood and we’d love you to be able to know about us. But we’d love to be able to get to know you too, so you are always welcome at any of our regular worship services. We’d be delighted to meet you in person

The Labour party has asked all its MPs to say if they will stand again in the next general election, and Steve Pound our local MP has announced he is not. Steve has been a very committed constituency MP for a long time. We obviously don't know whether the next election will be in two months or two years, but we wish Steve well and thank him for his service.
