We are very grateful to the Prince‚Äôs Trust who have worked so hard to create an outdoor reading area for us. It was opened by the Mayor this morning and we are all looking forward to using the area to share stories in the shade very soon!ūüėäūüďöūüĆļūüĆ≥ūüĆŅ

Wowee! What a fantastic class assembly by Nursery this morning. They have enjoyed learning about The Very Hungry caterpillar and wanted to share the story. The children made the most beautiful, brightly coloured butterfly at the end. Nursery also went to the Dough Disco and became pirates during 5 a day. All children were superstars ‚ú®ūüĆąūüźõūüćé

Ethos group showing wonderful community spirit today by helping Reverend Chris to clean the War Memorial at church. Over the years the names of the wonderful local service men, who gave their lives for us, have become covered and unreadable. By cleaning away the grime and dirt their names can be remembered once again. Well done Ethos group a truly wonderful and respectful gesture. ‚õ™‚úĚÔłŹ‚̧ԳŹ

Wow! What a week at St Chad's! From Chester Zoo to our circus skills workshops and Summer Family Celebration, it's certainly been an exciting few days! Mrs Hughes, Mrs Mason and Miss Hough have enjoyed finishing our week off with some kind volunteers who came to help us out on our sensory garden and allotment this afternoon. A big thank you to all who have given their time this week to help us ūüėÉ‚ėÄÔłŹūüćĒūüć¶ūüć°ūü§Ļ‚Äć‚ôāÔłŹūüĆŅūü Ćłūüćďūüėä

We hope that lots of you are able to join us tomorrow afternoon from 1pm to work on our sensory garden in the sunshine ‚ėÄÔłŹ if you are coming along and have any paint brushes or edging shears, please bring them with you.ūüėÉ

Year 2 had a great time at the School Games multiskills festival this morning. Everyone gave everything a go and did their very best. Mrs Stead is very proud of you all. ūüŹÖ‚öĹūüéĺūü•ÖūüŹÜ

Ice lollies were very popular today in this warm weather so we will be selling them again tomorrow at break and after school. 30p and 50pūü涂ėÄÔłŹ

Summer Family Celebration, Friday 29th June 3.15 - 5pm ūü§Ļ‚Äć‚ôāÔłŹūüėéūüćĒ‚ėÄÔłŹ
The Friends of St Chad’s will be selling tickets for our Family Celebration on the playground after school today and tomorrow. Tickets cost £2 for adults and £1 for children and they include a burger or hot dog, a drink, use of the bouncy castles and face painting. There will also be stalls selling things like cakes, ice lollies, sweets and mocktails, as well as circus skills for you all to try!We hope you can a...ll come and join us!
If anyone is available to help the Friends on the day to set up or run stalls, we would be very grateful. Please let the Friends or Mrs Lewis in the office know if you can offer any help from 1pm onwards. Many thanks in advance ūüėÉ

My son has recently joined the reception class. I am extremely impressed with his education so far. The teachers are very helpful and friendly. classrooms clean and modern and meal choices well balanced and varied. The breakfast club is extremely affordable and flexible. 5 star school. X

My daughter joined year 5 in September, she was a little bit nervous but everyone staff and children made her feel at ease. It's now coming to the end of the school year and it feels like she's been here forever. Everyone is so supportive and nothing is never too much.

I really cant compliment this school enough. They go above and beyond to help and support when needed. My children love this school anf all staff. Thank you for all you do.

Can‚Äôt say how much I‚Äôm happy that my daughter Tilly is in St Chads. So nice to be able to have her in the school that I went to. She‚Äôs in such a lovely class and Mrs Thompson, Mrs Cashmore & Mrs Worrall are lovely. Couldn‚Äôt of asked for better teachers so thankyou. It doesn‚Äôt go unmissed the effort you put in and it truly pays off in Tilly‚Äôs workÔŅĹ
