Make way for Alvin!
Hey guys! My names Alvin and I definitely like to make an entrance! I am a Rottweiler x Bulldog, nearly 2yrs old and I am the current 'big boy' on site. Everyone I've met tells me how handsome I am and lets be honest, I'm a bit of a looker ;)
I'm looking for a home with a sense of humour, someone that appreciates I am not always aware of my size and I may get a little too keen to say hello, my brakes don't always work. ūüôą ... I have been friendly with everyone at St. Francis, perhaps even a little too friendly at times.
I like other dogs but can be a little over the top, I just want to play! In my previous home I did live with cats, apparently people like that. If I'm honest, Cows and Horses do scare me though, sshhh!!! don't tell the other dogs!
Due to my over enthusiastic nature, I would be best suited to older children if any. A secure garden would be perfect for me so I can have some play time whilst you continue my training, I am pretty strong on the lead at times (Sorry I'm just too inquisitive)
Experience of larger breeds would be beneficial but not essential.

Hi friends, Ziggy here. I am a 1 year old male collie and I am looking for a patient and understanding home in a quiet or rural area, who can keep a busy boy like me entertained. I arrived here as a stray and the team have been getting to know both me and my quirks. Fingers crossed that I sound like the dog for you?
I would love an adult-only home, with owners who have experience of doggies that need training. I am friendly to the people I meet but I get too distracted with t...he fun things that are going on around me. Cars, birds, leaves.....you name it and I like to chase them. I struggle to listen to my human friends when they try to get my attention and even yummy treats don't do the trick. The team have been tempting me with squeeky toys and this has helped, but I have been told that I need a special home where I can continue to practice the strange thing that they call 'focus' ūüź∂
I am looking for a home as the only pet. I have met a couple of dogs and they confuse me a little. Maybe once I have worked on my own doggy skills and training I could meet a few more, but for now I have so much to learn. To continue with my training I need a large, secure garden that I can exercise in and practice my recall.
Although my history is not know and I have lots to learn, I hope that there is a special and kind person out there who can help teach me all of those things that I have so far missed out on learning. They say that every day is a new beginning and I'm ready to find a family to share my future with ūüíĖ
