Some coats were left in the hall today, following the Kidz Konnekt Christmas Fayre.
A good meeting today at S. Mark, South Thornaby with PCC members from other parishes that had sent representatives to the LYCIG (Leading Your Church Into Growth) Conference at Walsingham, earlier this year. Fr Mark Catherall SSC, pictured speaking on the 12 Basic Principles.

First Sunday of Advent 9.30 am Sung Mass with children’s activities. Join us as we begin a new Church year and prepare for the celebration of the birth of Jesus.

This piece of music was written especially for Fr Edward and our Church. It is the prayer St. Hilda of Whitby wrote set to beautiful music by Richard Bendelow.

We are looking forward to continuing our Patronal celebrations tomorrow when we welcome the combined choirs of the Roseberry Church Music Singers, Great Ayton Christ Church and Loftus S. Leonard for Choral Vespers at 4pm. Please do come and join us!

Christmas Memorial Service - Sunday 16th December at 6pm - a welcome to all to come and remember our loved ones who have died and light a candle in their memory, followed by mince pies and refreshments in the hall.
Very friendly people very accepting of new people and just had my granddaughters christening there
This church is very special to me as it is where I was baptised and also where our three children were baptised. Lovely people as well. X
Thank you to the church for allowing my family to be apart of it and Fr. Richard for baptising my daughter. It was a beautiful service.
My only place I felt fully safe as a child when father richard was there lovely vicar he was this church gave me my faith and my strength and I have a lot to thank St hildas for xx
