We stayed here this weekend gone by with our family and could not fault the excellent service, stunning decor and spacious modern rooms. We also booked the Alice in Wonderland Afternoon Tea at Kona and it was incredible, even with our specific dietary requirements and kid friendly menu. Absolutely loved the Taj - a sense of Indian royal hospitality in the heart of London!

We have stayed at the Taj about six Times and we have always had great service rooms very comfortable,breakfast excellent.

We have just had an amazing weekend here. The staff and service was impeccable.

We had a slight issue at first with our room but this was address and resolved without hesitation.

I could not fault the service. Thank you so much. We hope to be back.

We came for my husband's birthday lunch at Bistro on 24th Dec. I had left a message while booking that it was his birthday. The restaurant staff made it very special for us. We had a cake and wine on the house. I have been to Taj all over India but this was my first time in London. The experience was simply awesome like it is always with Taj!

This was our third stay at the hotel. First time when it was still Crowne Plaza, last year as is was already Taj. Our second stay last year was everything but great, but after receiving an e-mail by the general manager, we decided to give it another try this year. And to be honest, this time you completely overwelmed us with your hospitality, most outstanding service and delicious food. From the most welcoming check in, the beautifully renovated excutive room itself, the lavish breakfast and the very pleasant check-out, everything was spot on. If anyone had a bad experience at this hotel, do give it a second chance, so many people are making an effort to make this hotel a truly hidden gem in London!! Thx to everyone for making our stay remarkable! Next time in London, we will stay again at your premises, even more we will even recommand it.

This was our first stay in this hotel. We stayed over Christmas with our little son of 18 months. All I can say is that everything was great: The kind staff, the very nice room and the amazing Christmas Eve dinner. They gave our son so many little surprises.

We will definetely come back.

Surely i will be your guest again. It's a lovely place full of every tipe of comforts (the room,the bed,the easy way to reach every possible place) and we love Ioana <3 '

Staff so professional. Couldn’t help us enough. Rooms large. Breakfast all you can eat for £15 well worth it. Great hotel. Great location. If you go weekend and there’s a single yellow line you can park free all weekend. We got dead opp the entrance. Bonus! Will def be going back soon!

Bar service a bit slow but just allow for that it doesn’t detract from the splendid surroundings

I have been staying here since Friday the 15, and it has been wonderful ! Rooms very clean and comfortable,service is amazing and everyone is so helpful. Great location central to it all. 3 min walk to the palace. Will definitely recommend this hotel to others and will hopefully come back here myself .

Great hotel in super location. The staff are friendly and very helpful. They are renovating exteriors in some areas and some soft room renovations but it doesn’t get really loud except in am in courtyard a bit. They should be done soon. All the restaurants are very good.

First time I stayed at this hotel in London. Excellent service, friendly personnel, the room was very nice and clean. Had dinner at the hotel’s bistro. Tasty Indian meal at a reasonable price in London terms. Only thing that was missing in the hotel room was a bottle opener. All perfect otherwise!

Comfortable, excellent breakfast, very friendly staff, very good location (access to trains nearby; to city short drive by taxi or 20min walk through park).

A great place just to sit and have coffee. We were visiting guests and the service aforded to us was excelent I would highly recomend a stay or just call in for coffee or breakfast. We are planning a stay in the near future thank you Taj.

The only reason not to give a 5 star to this excellent hotel is due to the fact that the person at the reception, Valerica, did nothing at all to welcome us or at least make us feel better after arriving from Reykjavik at 6:00am at the airport, and at 1:00pm at the hotel.

She treated us with no courtesy, asked for a credit card and once I presented her with mine she asked me: "Is this a credit card?" Did she think I was going to fool her ?

We asked in advance for a late check-out ( we had a really late flight back home) but her answer was no.

During all my trip there was no hotel that would not grant us with a 2 hour courtesy for a late check-out.

Valerica is the only reason for a missing star....

It’s good to be here , specially Indian people, hospitality is good, only thing is in the breakfast South Indian food to be included, so that hotel will good amount of Indian tourists

Great location, fabulously helpful staff, hotel looks very swish and impressive on arrival. Unfortunately the very small room we were given did not match up to this. Totally standard room, which was perfectly adequate but not opulent in any way. Breakfast was delicious and very well served and we got a good price too. Very happy to recommend, brilliant for the theatres, Buckingham Palace and Trafalgar Square, all within walking distance. Thank you for a comfortable stay, we would book again 😀

The lobby of this five star hotel is certainly very lavish but the room we were allocated does not match as it is very small and the standard is quite basic. The bathroom is smaller still with a shower over the bath and a curtain, it is difficult to get in and out of. The service in Hamptons leaves a lot to be desired as very slow and not attentive at all. It's also the first hotel I've stayed in where we have had to wait in a long line to be seated, we tried a different time the second day only to find the waiting time even longer. To be honest have had better service at a Premier Inn.

Being a Gold Member of Taj, I have stayed in several of Taj properties, besides other four and five stars but this is the first hotel where breakfast was not included and we had to pay for the breakfast. Good four star hotels like Double Tree Hilton were offering a much better deal with breakfast included, but we chose the Taj out of loyalty. When we did the booking it showed breakfast included but when we checked in they told us it was not part of the deal! That was disappointing otherwise the room was good, no cribs about that. Location was also excellent.
