This is the most welcoming hospital I have ever walked into, the Drs. Nurses and support staff are professional and very caring. The hospital is very clean, airy and bright, nicely decorated foyers with plenty of space and seating to relax and have a coffee. I have had the best care ever at this hospital by one of the best medical teams, Mr Hidalgo's. Thank you.

I've been a patient here for many years. The care I have received has been quite exceptional from everyone. I'm now on clinical trials, although my cancer has been quite a journey, they have helped me get through.

I was transferred here for my radiotherapy after surgery at Barnsley (another excellent hospital). I cannot praise the staff in the Princess Royal Radiotherapy Suite highly enough. I was treated with the utmost care, compassion, and respect, throughout what would otherwise have been a very traumatic time. The Bexley Wing itself feels extremely welcoming, light, airy, modern, lovely artworks, great facilities. Thank you all.

User

I was in for 29 days very ill, the Doctors and Nurses are fantastic, the Nurses are run off their feet, sometimes was only 1 nurse on duty all night, they deserve all the money they get and it should be more.

User

I visited a colleague and friend receiving treatment for cancer. I was very impressed with the bright clean hospital and the friendly professionalism of the staff. It was clear she was in good hands.

I can't think where to start .... I know right from the very first day we walked into the Oncology department at Nova Suite with my 89 year old Aunt who had recently had the devastating news that she has two tumours on her brain . Our meeting with Mr Hatfield the oncologist who explain every detail of what was going to happen if she agreed to go ahead with the Gamma Knife procedure sounds a little scary but a knife is no where to be seen .

We arrived at 8 am the following week to be greeted by a lovely friendly face ..... DONNA not only was she one of the most calming nurses I have yet to meet , I felt I was her best friend when I left . Simon .... Another 5 * member of the team started the whole procedure , the making of the mask and preparing for the radiation treatment again one of the most caring and kind Person we felt safe with , The next day we arrived just before 9 for the first day of treatment to be greeted by the two girls with the biggest smiles anyone could wish for to make us feel at ease , Beth and Cathrine girls you are an amazing team . On to day 2 two more assuring young ladies came to greet us Sarah , and I am sorry I can't remember the other young ladies name she was going to observe , Our last day today Sarah and Beth were our team for today again we felt we had known them for ages ...Such a credit to whole experience . I must not forget Joan the very proud cleaner on the unit who I must keeps it to a very high standard of cleanliness also Rauriui ..... Please some tell me I have spelt it correctly .....So Mr Hatfield you have team to be very proud of . We know not always is there a positive outcome . But nothing can take it way ,we had a dam good try . .........

So anyone in the future that is unfortunate to have to attend this unit , all I can say you will be given the first and foremost possible chance no matter what age .... Thank You x

Having moved to Chancellors Wing on the 7th November & my appointment being the 9th, i have to say the transition seems to have gone smoothly.

A lovely warm, welcoming waiting area in the colposcopy unit with plenty info on hand if you have any questions. Equally warm, were the staff, each and every one of them. I felt really cared for, my Dr & nurse couldn't have been any nicer (& funnier ) throughout all of my treatment since April 2015, i have been very well cared for.

The toilet area outside the main Gynae reception area needs more attention i'm afraid. No toilet roll, there was water (or something to that effect) all over the floor with wet tissue on it, really messy.
