St John’s Beaumont is a small, independent Roman Catholic day and boarding preparatory school for boys aged 3 - 13 years, located near Windsor, Berkshire, on the border of Surrey.

Welcome to St John’s Beaumont. We are a Roman Catholic, Jesuit boarding and day preparatory school for boys aged 3 - 13. Located within easy reach of Heathrow Airport and West and Central London, St John’s, the oldest purpose built preparatory school in the country and, founded in 1888, combines the rich tradition of Jesuit education with the very best that modern teaching techniques and technology can offer. Boys leave St John’s aged 13 and move to some of the country’s finest schools, but more importantly do so as confident, aspirational and resilient young men, aware of their own potential and their ability to leave a positive impression on the lives of others.

We are proud of our boys and of the way they engage so enthusiastically in the enrichment opportunities that we offer. Whether it be the many optional cultural trips, our ‘Magis’ programme, the wide list of extra-curricular activities or other competitions and challenges, a St John’s boy is encouraged to develop a sense of resilience and confidence through trying new and at times, daunting opportunities.
