Thank you to all who made our Carols by Candlelight and Christingle services so special yesterday and today. We had new faces at both services; it was lovely to see you there. St John’s wishes you all a very happy Christmas and blessed New Year.

Our amazing catering team did a three course Christmas lunch for 80 today and raised £500 for Christian Aid’s Peacemakers appeal, to help children in war zones. Thank you so much

This coming Sunday it is harvest festival at St John’s. Do join us for a thanksgiving for God’s goodness at 10.30 am on Sunday 7 October, or 4 pm service followed by Harvest Tea. Had a lovely christening service for Oscar and Emily last week - perfectly behaved throughout!

Passed away peacefully on 2nd September 2018 at home with her family around her, Frances Carol, aged 80 years of St Austell.
Beloved wife of the late Don,... loving mum of Andrew, Geoffrey and Helen, mother-in-law of Karen, Sally and Reg, dear granny of Tom, Tegan, Victoria, Mawgan, George, Henry and James.
A Service Of Thanksgiving will be held at St John’s Methodist Church, St Austell on Monday 10th September at 1pm, following a private Committal.
Family flowers only, donations, if desired, to be divided between St John’s Methodist Church and British Heart Foundation c/o Paul Bourton Funeral Service, 37-41 Truro Road, St Austell PL25 5JE Tel: 01726 65727 or by retiring collection at the service.
