You should all be so proud of what you do. The NHS could learn so much from your approach. The facilities are truly beautiful. Thank you so much for all you have done for us

My sister spent the last two weeks of her life in St Leonard's and the care she received was just wonderful. She was only 57 when she died, which was devastating, but we were so grateful to St Leonard's for making her final days as comfortable as possible. Our youngest son Alan, has raised a lot of money for St Leonard's by completing the York Marathon and various half marathons. He is a Star! As all of you are. Thank you for being there. xx

User

My dad very sadly passed away on Tuesday, in the loving care of the hospice staff , that I can only describe as absolute angels . Dad only came to you a few days before , previously cared for at home with the fabulous help that hospice@home provided . As a family , we are devastated by our loss but felt I had to put our comments on here as soon as I could . Nothing , simply nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff , not just for dad but the whole of my family , we were so well looked after constantly .the passion and love these staff have for the work they do is simply amazing. From the bottom of our hearts we thank you all for everything you did for us all in those last few days of dad’s life , the h@ h team for the last few wks he was at home with us , the love , support and respect you have shown each and every one of us . We are eternally greatful to you all xxxxxxx

It was a year ago today my beautiful Nan's cancer took a turn for the worst. Over night she became seriously ill & needed lots of care. I cared for her up until st Leonard's had a bed for my nan 4 days later. My nan sadly only spent 4 days in st leonards before the angels came for her. But st Leonard's made it the best, last 4 days they could. All the staff were absolutely amazing, caring, helpful and if there was anything they could do to help my nan or my family they tried their best to do it. I'll be forever grateful to st Leonard's for what they did for my nan and I know my nan will be aswel. Thankyou to all st Leonard's hospice from the bottom of my heart xxx

An absolutely incredible charity who stepped in when our family needed them most, to provide end of life care to our loving Nanna. They provided exceptional care to my Nanna in her final days and we will be eternally grateful for the blessing you were to our family at such an incredibly hard time. You treated our Nanna with the upmost dignity and respect and made her so comfortable in her final hours. You really were a gift from heaven for us and our angels here on earth. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
