A fundraising idea has led to a donation of £350 to the Hospice.
Thank you to Thetford’s Mayor Roy Brame who hosted his every own heads and tails fundraiser in a bid to raise funds for the charity.
Roy decided to hold his event at the start of this year’s Thetford Open Gardens. Thank you Roy for your support.
Could you help keep our walkers safe at Girls Night Out?
The Hospice's biggest fundraising event of the year is just weeks away and we're looking for volunteers who can help us in some very important roles, including registering people when they arrive, handing out bunny ears, lining the route, cheering and encouraging our walkers on, keeping everyone safe, and welcoming walkers over the finish line with their medals.

With Girls Night Out just a few weeks away, here's an introduction to the team that makes sure all our walkers are safe and happy.
Whether it’s a question about the route, a query about a sponsorship form or bright idea for a fundraiser, bunny ears and pyjamas are never far from the minds of the Hospice’s Girls Night Out Events Team, consisting of Jenny Smith, Charlie De-Moore and Emma Clements.
It’s their job to make sure all of our walkers have a wonderful time and the nig...ht runs without a hitch. Their duties, to name just a few, are to make sure that everyone stays safe, that there are plenty of T-shirts to go around, enough loos on the night and of course that everyone gets their bunny ears.
Those who are walking with us at Girls Night Out, you will have received emails from them and possibly even phone calls, but if you see them on the night, don’t forget to say hello and give them a wave!

A team of intrepid fundraisers pulled on their sturdiest walking shoes and tackled the Yorkshire Three Peaks to raise £2,104.30 for St Nic’s.
The group of seven, who all work for the Bury St Edmunds-based company Bosta UK, walked the 24-mile route, which included 1585m of ascent, on Saturday, 9 June, and completed their challenge within a 12-hour target.
Thank you Holly Pye, Sarah Wilson, Conrad Bos, Scott Parry, Heidi O’Dowd, Louise Miller and Bernard Verburg, and everyone who supported them.
A message for our Hospice Lottery members. This week’s draw will be delayed until next Tuesday (7 August). This won't affect your membership, we'll simply have two draws next week.
Thank you to everyone who helped us celebrate at our Haverhill Hub yesterday, marking a year since the Hospice services, shop and café were brought together under one roof.
Jessica Gunn, St Nicholas Hospice Care’s Hub Shop Manager, said: “We were all really pleased to welcome everyone to our celebration event on Saturday. As well as being able to celebrate the coming together of our clinical services, café and shop, it was an important chance for us to raise further awareness... about the charity and the help and support we are able to offer people across Haverhill. We hope to continue welcoming the community into the Hub.”
We are grateful to everyone who helped to make the event possible - volunteers and staff who gave up their time to support the event, Fiscale Ltd for sponsoring the occasion and the many local businesses who donated prizes for the raffle.
