Had a lovely weekend down at this site. We enjoyed the clubs entertainment and nice and clean swimming pool. Thanks for making us feel welcome! :-)

Got back on Friday from a 4 night stay and had a lovely time! Amazing for the price paid!! I stayed in a bronze caravan with my 2 dogs, toddler and husband and was so impressed! I wasn't expecting much from a bronze but was clean and had everything you need for a comfortable stay! Kitchen had more utensils than my kitchen at home although I'm not much of a cook ha. Beach is a 2 minute walk and is lovely. Entertainment is great and staff are so friendly and enthusiastic. Wasn't expecting any entertainment for the time of the year but was still provided each day. Swimming pool is great despite the last review I read about it being cold (bore off and move around more you will soon warm up!) Good for toddlers and younger children with very shallow end. Would definetly return! Thanks for wearing my toddler and dogs out!

Fantastic weekend away. Christina Park star was fantastic and so professional. Thank you for making a little boy very happy on his 7th birthday. We hope to be back sometime soon. X

Came last year in june 2017 for a long weekend.. absolutely fantastic beach side holiday .. club.. entertainment and overall lovely .. returning this week..the staff are lovely..cant do enough for u .. food is spot on ..very friendly and professional..great spring time break..

Nice place and nice caravan neighbours would definitely recommend

We stayed here recently for a 3 night/4 day break with our 5 children in a gold plus caravan.

The caravan itself was lovely, nice and spacious, only criticism was a large stain on the lounge carpet which looked unsightly and there were 7 of us all together and only 6 plates and bowls etc, needs more for large families, also oven gloves and tea towels would have been useful instead of using our towels in the kitchen to get food out of the oven!

The beach was lovely and there is a bigger better park further down from the park.

The pool was OK, kids loved it but it was very cold and dirty, could see things floating about in it which put me off going back in to be honest, life guards on the 2nd day also weren't really paying much attention and we're more interested in chatting with some of the young female guests!

The biggest downfall for the whole park is the clubhouse, the toilets stank, clearly a drainage problem, the toilet rolls were empty and the soap dispenser wasn't filled up the whole time we were staying there.

The arcade is very cold and 2p machines had hardly any prizes in just some odd packs of popping candy and other sweets.

Entertainment was lacking, a bouncy castle was put up for a short period, some crayons were put down on the stage for the kids and a mat with building blocks was put out but it was all taken away rather quickly.

Lack of clubs and things for kids to do, really quite a boring place for families, we went out and about with them, don't rely on the entertainment advertised at the park.

Biggest let down was the food, mash tasted like it was out of a packet, dried out burgers, overdone rock hard onion rings, burnt garlic bread, cheap and nasty sausages, my partner wanted to have half roast chicken but it wasnt ever available when we ordered it, the best 'meal' we had was pizza and we stuck with that because it was a branded ready made so we knew it would be a safe choice.

The coffee machine was also broken the whole of our stay which isn't good when there are posters up everywhere advertising buy one get one free on hot drinks.

Security staff were excellent, really friendly and joked around with the kids, bar staff also very friendly.

Overall lovely caravan, nice beach and surrounding area but be prepared to spend out on eating elsewhere, there is a Tobys and hungry horse close by as well as nice fish and chips and some local pubs but definitely avoid eating on site.

We came for a break mon-fri term time with our 3 and 1 year old. Very basic site. Bedrooms hadn't been cleaned properly as found a bottle underneath one of the beds in the spare room, the sink was still dirty. Was told we could park by caravan then housekeeping told us not to park there as we could be fined then we got told we could so long as it was on the concrete. Pool wasn't nice smelt of sick and the flume wasn't working. Kids entertainment was ok a bit hit and miss but with only a handful of kids they did well. Christine and Jordan? Were great. The cafe on the neighbouring park was lovely good portions for the price and the ice creams were nice. Couldn't really sit on the beach as it was rocky. Not a bad stay but not worth the 4hour journey!

We arrived on a friday got the dining tickets system as i didnt want to cook friday eve meal was ok not great but ok hubby left his as pie was like cardboard and no salt in mash very dry the apple crumble was bitter and awful breakfast is a joke toaster only half worked so waited ages for toast no strawberry jam no bread on all 3 days had to ask on all 3 days and no sugar for tea bacon burnt all 3 days baked beans were cold before i got to them last night we ordered an afters and in the end we had to leave with nothing shower was cold but was fixed definately not bothering coming again

BIG FLOP

I am a returning customer who has been holidaying here for the last 3 years and I have to say some of the changes I have seen are not for the better. So I’ll tell you what the good and bad points are.

Bad points.

The food service is shocking to say the least,we ordered food only to be told 15 minutes later that there was no fish as it was still frozen so we changed our meal to an All day Brunch ........ firstly the Brunch costs over £3 less than the fish Burger and we never received a refund .......

Then 20 minutes later this guy approached us Wanting to confirm that it is not an all day breakfast, he never attempted to identify himself and I’m lead to believe perhaps he is the manager.

The food was mediocre to say the least,the sausages were undercooked

I later on asked if I could purchase a ham and cheese panini only to be told that they don’t do them anymore instead the sold me a ham and cheese toasty which I had to send back after I had taken a bite out of it only to find it was still frozen

It was taken reheated and brought back to me.

I would of presumed they would of thrown it away and prepared me a fresh one.

The toilets in the clubhouse, it smells like someone has dedicated in the corner and has not been cleaned up ( we arrived at midday Friday and they still looked and smelt the same Saturday evening) we have since found out that there are other toilet facilities in the clubhouse and they were spotless

I also watched what I believe to be the manager come from the food preparation area with a mop and bucket during Sunday’s England match (the mop was not in the bucket and was wet.) and proceeded to go into the gents dirty toilets when he came out the mop bucket had about 4 inches of dirty water in it and the mop was dripping wet, he then walked back through the food preparation area dripping whatever was on the mop on the floor )



Good things.

The site in general is well kept and fairly friendly (that’s why we come here )

The new caravans if you book one are great value for money and very well equipped

Housekeeping checked in with us on 2 occasions, one to give us a new frying pans and 2 pillows ( we dident notice they were missing so well done to Maxine from housekeeping) and the other to make sure everything was working and that we were happy

The caravan was cleaned to a very high standard (Caravan 107 well done Max@)

The swimming pool is open 2-3 times a day and again is very family friendly



I still have another 4 days here and I’m currently unsure that I would book to stay again.

PARK HOLIDAYS let’s hope you see and act on some of the criticism

It's a shame because all the staff seem friendly and fun but everything looks shabby and dirty. The swimming pool is a health hazard with thick dust everywhere and really unclean floors, the water looks really merky it's also very shallow all over.



The entertainment work hard to make it an enjoyable evening but seem to lack in talent. One person who is one of the lead entertainers was unprofessional towards another team member by throwing lollipops all over the stage twice which wasn't funny or health and safety minded. The bar staff are a little rude and not helpful.



I would rate this a very low star park because it needs a good clean up....:



Please can I just say a big thank you to the staff who work hard to make it fun!

It is ok as an owner it’s very frustrating how much money you spend on site fee’s and how Parks seem to give priority to rentals.

I would not recommend this park to anyone. We booked a silver plus caravan and were given a caravan that was definitely not silver plus. The shower didn't work and the caravan was very basic and stunk. We complained and the shower was fixed but after being told they could move us the following day, they then said they didn't have another van available. As for the site well, the swimming pool which advertised a slide was not working! Play area a joke. We visited the clubhouse and they had 2 members of staff who had to run the bar, clear the tables (which were not cleared at all until the end of the evening), deliver the food orders, manage the amusements arcade etc. So needless to say we didn't stay long. The entertainment was rubbish too. A couple of singers! all week who really couldn't sing.



The site is filthy with dogs barking all the time and through the night. Most dog owners cleaned up after their dogs but some didn't and a couple of times we had to clean up the children's shoes. There is plenty of security but they can do nothing about the intimidating older boys riding around on bikes!!



The shop is just a few bits in the reception area which cannot be classed as a shop.



Parking not good due to caravans for sale being parked in the parking bays. So returning home with a nice dent in my car door.



You would have thought that as the school holidays are here and the prices have increased there would be more staff, proper entertainment, a working slide (as advertised) in the swimming pool.



'Don't book this park' is the best advice I can give anyone thinking of going here!

We arrived on Monday, drove through the camp and straight back out again, what an absolute shithole!

Stayed here with my partner and 3 children age 5,2 and 1 was absolutely freezing gas bottle ran out which should have been checked my kids got up at half 4 in the morning as they was freezing but we had no heating no emergency contact number on the booklet and the office was closed till 10 ended up going home on the first night as my kids were moaning they was cold. Absolute disgrace no refund given no help given would not recommend this holiday park.

Only reason it has 1 star is because I can't give 0! Arrival we got to dirty linen and tab ends outside, no travel cot even though pre-booked had upgraded!

Yet to see the supermarket, takeaway, restaurant unless you mean the short staffed bar ( staff worked hard) entertainment well same songs every night, kids karaoke starting at 10:30pm is not really kid friendly. Van itself was not as advertised but neither was the park, swimming pool indoor got to use once and out door closed. trying to get out was fun as we didn't want to always drive only 'safe' way is on sea front and get bus as no foot paths into village!

Disgusted with the park and how much we paid for that. Our first family holiday together and what a let down. Honestly would never recommend it to anyone. I have emailed customer service

Except for the caravan and their cleaning staff this place was an absolute disgrace � swimming pool was freezing , toilets all blocked , staff in arcades rude unhelpful and most of machines broken , ice cream all over the rides sticky and unable to sit on them, prizes mostly ran out when you won tickets in machines, kitchen ran out of chips and ice cream , bar staff rude and slamming and crashing things in a strop� one of the entertainers who had her arm in a sling was rude and unprofessional , main club house was always untidy .........the caravans were very close together so you couldn't get it cars near them so with children and water logged grass /mud this was not my idea of fun ....SORT IT OUT management �

Caravan well kept to a good standard although we had a cooker problem that was sorted straight away but a plinth on the sofa bed kept falling on the kids legs which took two days to sort out. We were only there for 5. However the state of the site was terrible especially around the entertainment area. Full of dirty tables, glasses, fag butts on the floor which never seemed to be sorted the whole time we were there. The amusements were a joke as half were broken and many others just randomly took your money but no game. Be prepared to not swim either as we only had one 45 minute session as we weren’t prepared to chance whether we could get in after twice queuing for ages. Some staff were good but some could really do with smiling a bit. I have since spoken to the site manager who has apologised and advised me they have had an issue with some staff and offered food vouchers for another visit but it still doesn’t compensate for a ruined holiday experience. Don’t think we’ll be using Park Holidays again I’m afraid.

Booked a weekend here as we were looking into buying a Caravan. Complete waste of time and money.



The guy trying to sell us a van had no interest whatsoever when he realised I wasn’t going to leave a deposit. They want 40% of rental not worth doing.



The site itself doesn’t have a lot going for it. You can’t park next to your van so expected to take all your luggage by hand, I have two disabled children not easy and definitely not disabled accessible.



The van itself was fairly clean but the vans around us were dirty and full of couples who just seemed to want to argue with each other at all times of day and night.



Definitely won’t be returning left a day early as couldn’t get any sleep due to noise level

Booked a short break here & wish I didnt bother! We upgraded to a silver package & were put in a bog standard caravan, the shower leaked 24/7, the toilet was broken, beds were supposed to be made up on arrival, they werent! All we had to clean throughout the week was a broken broom, & a dustpan & brush that were so dirty we couldnt even use them! The swimming pool & atm were out of use all week! The evening entertainment was the same every single day. There is nothing else to do other than those things!! Also the 'supermarket' consists of a few shelves in the reception!!!!

The website states to have restaurants & takeaways, there werent any!!! The park is run down with no more than 2 swings & small climbing frame!

Unless you drive & can get out, then dont go here because there really is nothing to do & its in the middle of nowhere!!

I could add more to this, the list is endless!!

The guy trying to sell us a van had no interest whatsoever when he realised I wasn’t going to leave a deposit. They want 40% of rental not worth doing.



The site itself doesn’t have a lot going for it. You can’t park next to your van so expected to take all your luggage by hand, I have two disabled children not easy and definitely not disabled accessible.



The van itself was fairly clean but the vans around us were dirty and full of couples who just seemed to want to argue with each other at all times of day and night.



Definitely won’t be returning left a day early as couldn’t get any sleep due to noise level

Booked a short break here & wish I didnt bother! We upgraded to a silver package & were put in a bog standard caravan, the shower leaked 24/7, the toilet was broken, beds were supposed to be made up on arrival, they werent! All we had to clean throughout the week was a broken broom, & a dustpan & brush that were so dirty we couldnt even use them! The swimming pool & atm were out of use all week! The evening entertainment was the same every single day. There is nothing else to do other than those things!! Also the 'supermarket' consists of a few shelves in the reception!!!!

The website states to have restaurants & takeaways, there werent any!!! The park is run down with no more than 2 swings & small climbing frame!

Unless you drive & can get out, then dont go here because there really is nothing to do & its in the middle of nowhere!!
