I’ve just been to Barbara Jackson in the Royal. The good news is she is on her way home today but it would be really helpful if someone could lend her a wheelchair. If you know anyone where could please let us know.
Church open for prayer
Brenda Hankin died at 4.30 Friday afternoon. Brenda was a committed servant of God and loved St Stephen's. She used to clean the church every week and the difference she made was fantastic. I loved talking about faith with her, her sharp wit, difficult questions and deep faith will be missed by me and many others. More recently at the Thursday communion service she joined in the discussions on the talk and joined in actively in the prayers. Brenda's insights as she grew older were amazing and it has been a privilege to have known her over the last 20 years. Please continue to pray for Pam and the family. As Sandra has written, "May Brenda rest in peace and rise in glory. Amen"
