Thank you to Father Michael and Deacon Tony for celebrating our end of year Mass with us in school this morning. It was a wonderfully uplifting occasion but tinged with some sadness as Father will be leaving the parish in the next couple of weeks. We are very grateful for his ministry with us and for his spiritual guidance, love and support over the past three years. We wish him well in his new parish and will continue our prayers for him. Thank you to all who contributed so... generously towards a leaving gift for Father Michael. We wanted to give him something that would always remind him of us, so we chose a beautiful handmade stole. Father was thrilled and said that there is no better gift for a priest. Please see the picture below - we hope you are all happy with our choice. Father says he will wear it at Mass this Sunday, for all to see. I am sure you will join us in wishing Father Michael health, happiness and many blessings in his new parish.

⭐️⭐️⭐️A huge well done to all of our City Athletics finalists who competed at Northwood for Stoke town today. I’m pleased to announce that the Stoke Schools team won the city final and all of the children who competed today, whether they came first or tenth, earned points towards this massive achievement! Well done everyone! 🏆 what a fabulous end to the year ⭐️⭐️⭐️

As part of French, for our modern foreign language curriculum we celebrated Bastille day (and France getting in the world cup final) All classes took part in French activities through out the day The children enjoyed croissants in the morning and had a taste of plain/chocolate brioche and pain au chocolate. They also had a drink of red wine (blackcurrant juice)

⭐️⭐️⭐️ I am super proud to announce that our school has been awarded the Sainsbury’s school games ‘Platinum’ award for PE! 🏆 ⭐️⭐️⭐️
This is a brand new level awarded to schools who have consecutively achieved Gold status for 4 or more years! I’m very proud to say that we are one of the first schools to be awarded this which makes it even more special! Thank you to all our our staff, children and parents who have supported PE and Sport and put up with all of my letters to comp...etitions throughout the year. Your support really does mean a lot and this has really made my year!
Thank you.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make today’s Summer Fair one of our best ever. Thank you to all those who ran stalls or helped out in the background, all those fabulous people who helped clear up at the end and of course all who supported by spending time and money with us this afternoon. We will let you know the final total next week. A special mention to Mrs Wiggins without whose dogged determination, hard work and enthusiasm, we would not be able to run our fundra...ising events - thank you! Also all of our staff, especially the support staff, many of whom came in on their day off or put in extra hours to help make the event a success - thank you all. Finally, we are blessed to have such supportive and amazing parents. Thank you all for helping us ensure we are able to provide resources and enriching activities for our children. Onwards and upwards 💪🏼

Due to the unusually hot weather, children will be permitted to leave their ties at home for the next few days. We will let you know when we expect them to be worn again. Those children attending St Joseph’s College for transition tomorrow MUST wear their full uniform please. Thank you.

A huge well done to our Girls’ Rounders team who came 2nd in a tournament at St John’s tonight. 🥈👏🏼

Thank you to everyone for all the donations for the summer fair. We've had a fantastic response. Looks like the weather is going to hold out for next week so we're going to have our first summer fair on the fields. Thank you to those who have promised a gazebo for the day but because of the warm weather we want all stalls under a gazebo so we need more. Please bring your gazebo on Friday morning to the top yard. Many Thanks
