Fantastic Modern Hospital in the heart of London. This Hospital must have the best views in the whole of the UK. I was sitting in a waiting room overlooking the River Thames opposite the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben, it was a wonderful sunny crisp winters morning watching the boats go by. The facilities and staff are amazing, they were so kind and thoughtful, they just couldn't do enough for me, even though they are underpaid and over worked. I will be choosing this hospital every time, Thank you St Thomas'.

It is overall the best hospital I have ever been in.
Most of the doctors, nurses and midwives are really nice and friendly. Prenatal and postnatal care as well as the experience of giving birth was really straightforward with all the help I got.
Only negative experience was with the day assessment unit. We waited at least 4 hours there despite having an emergency...

Staff on the whole great. Hygiene on refurbished Stephen ward disgusting to say the least. Toilets blocked. 4 bays under infection quarantine, no heating. No hygiene products in bathrooms. 3 of 4 lifts out of order
What was the point of relocating patients into an unfinished ward? On top of all that still waiting after 3 weeks for an urgent procedure which at the time of review has been cancelled twice
Apart from that a huge improvement on my previous hospital. I cannot praise the majority of the nursing staff highly enough though. 4 stars not 3 as previously posted. My bad.!!

Been there yesterday and received an absolute amazing service. The doctors, the nurses (Sophie and Marco in particular!) and all the staff are very nice, professional and prepared. By far one of the best hospitals I've ever been to.

I am very grateful to the amazing midwives and consultants on the 7th floor who helped me give a natural birth to my baby. They've all made my experience extra special with great facilities and great staff. Overall had the most overwhelming yet best experience I've ever had in a hospital.

My husband had to be admitted after new year's eve. It was a hard time for us but the staff from this hospital made his stay more pleasant. It makes you realise that paying your tax is not on vain. Don't have words to express my gratitude towards the staff.

Horrible experience yesterday/today. Been sent to urgent care yesterday after calling 111, waited 3.5h to then see a doc who gave me wrong info about what to do next. They lost my urine sample, my form has been pre-filled with details about my blood pressure that at that stage has not been even checked, everyone looked 'lost' and unorganised.
Then, this morning, went to the department that the doctor has recommended me to go to - waited 1.5h, filled the form, left another urine sample to then discover I'm not an urgent case and I was not supposed to be there.
Now, I have been given a piece of paper with few clinics I could go to - perfect, if it wasn't that all the info there are WRONG, not updated and none of the clinics accept appointments (document attached). Most of them are only open until 3pm which means I'm forced to miss other hours from my office.
I really cannot afford a private clinic so all I can do is hoping a doctor will see me this week.

After the first queue to check in, there is another wait to register a turn which took 20 minutes. Then, although the approximate waiting time has been stated on the reception, 2 hours in my case, it took me three hours to get to be seen by a nurse and the generic response is "sorry for the wait."
By the time I finally saw the GP, I had explained my whole physical problem 4 times. Even though she was nice, it's safe to say it's not worth the 4 hours process. If you need to be seen there, ask for the '5 minutes walk' GP contacts they provide.

I've received a top quality service at A&E Eye department (South Wing), starting with a receptionist, finished with a follow up with a doctor month after an accident. Waiting times, as usual, for a good quality care you need to wait a little bit. But totally worth it.
