It’s Mental Health Awareness Week. Thank you to everyone who came to our talk in the Tithe Barn on Saturday, as part of Doncaster Heritage Festival and helped us raise £534 for Young Minds.

Looking forward to the talk today in our Medieval Tithe Barn and hoping to raise some funds for Young Minds Charity.

Tickets are selling fast for our talk this Saturday 12th May at 2.00pm to be held in the Tithe Barn. “A Country House At War” will tell the story of how Hooton Pagnell Hall was transformed into a Hospital during WW1. Yesterday me and my amazing new bride tied the knot at Hooton Pagnell hall. The help and support given from everybody at Stable Archers,particularly Jen and Lawrence, made it the most amazing day! Nothing was ever too much and they did everything possible to make us happy. They made sure Emma and her bridesmaids had everything they wanted on the night before and gave them a fantastic meal! On the day both Jen and Lawrence fitted in with both of our families making people laugh and we're perfectly attentive. We simply can't thank them enough and can't wait to return soon to one of their tasting evenings! ���

Wonderful food, friendly staff, beautiful surroundings. We had a lovely evening here sampling the taster menu highly recommended.

Well, if I had to give the definition of heaven's gardens, I'd say - the gardens of Stable Arches.

I was in the centre of raspberry canes, helping myself to the finest, freshest, ripened to perfection, organic raspberry royalty. With a taste of the very same quality blackberries still in my mouth, getting ready to embark on the best ever mulberries, on my way to the last but not least red currants. I didn't mention fantastic grapes and apricots, plumes, figs, pears, flowers, or the other luxuries like the "feel free to help yourself" bar in the boutique hotel lounge.

And, Jen and Laurence, of course, just in case you want to be completely spoilt and pampered ��

We stayed here this weekend for my hen doo (a low key affair with just a few close family and friends) and from start to finish it was absolutely perfect. The rooms were all beautiful and the food in the evening was absolutely amazing. I can't thank Jen and Laurence enough for making my big send off a weekend to remember! X

We had a perfect stay as a family. The rooms are beautiful ,such attention to detail. The food was fabulous and the hosts Jen and Laurence could not do enough for us. I highly recommend Stable Arches to anyone.

Stable Arches is a very very comfortable, warm and stylish place to stay. It is a 5 bedroom boutique hotel consisting of the newly renovated wing of the beautiful and historic Hooton Pagnell Hall, which itself sits at the heart of Hooton Pagnell village and estate. We were looked after royally by Laurence and Jeanette Hill-Wickham. Laurence is a Michelin listed chef whose food was outstanding. Perfect for a short break.

Spent the night here for my 40th Birthday this weekend - WOW !! What en experience :-) ultimate in luxury and so comfortable and relaxing...would recommend to anyone who enjoys the finer the things in life in the peace and quiet of the beautiful Yorkshire Countryside :-) x x

Just returned from an absolutely perfect short stay at the hotel with my three daughters and two grandchildren aged 4 and 9 months.

Our host Nick could not have been more helpful and friendly with nothing being too much trouble. The hotel rooms are really well styled and very comfortable and the gardens and grounds are stunning.

We will most certainly be returning.

Fabulous food and beautiful venue. The tasting menu was exceptionally good. �
