Stadium Of Light
Reviews
Decent ground, good pubs and friendly locals. Bit of a depressing atmosphere though as they have been so poor for so long.
Amazing quality food go seats and plenty of leg room. Prices are a bit high but overall great
Turnstiles not working. Too many people crushed into one area. Police either too proactive, or ,even worse, at times too laid back.
Went to scatter my Dad's ashes. We were taken through the stadium, past all the dressing rooms, managers office & press room. We came through the players tunnel to "Dance Of The Knights" which was extra special as we had also played it at my Dad's funeral. The steward who was guiding us, took us to the pitch where a hole had been dug, he explained how much of the ashes to put in and then left us alone while we did it. Once we were ready to leave he came back to escorts us and encouraged us to take some photos of my young nephew in the managers seat. We were made to feel very special and my Dad will never miss a home game.
Not the biggest stadium but one of the most friendly. People here are passionate about their football and hopefully the team will soon be back where they belong in the premier league. Excellent facilities for corporate functions and events.
Very clear signage. Easy to follow. Great atmosphere. Excellent access. Very enjoyable.
Its alright. Stadiums average atmosphere is good. Foods average for a football stadium and the beer is carling or nothing. Cracking sunny day and fan zone though
It was a good experience all in all. Nice quiet sorroundings. Comfortable bed for a good night's sleep. What more can you ask for? Value for money.
