About Stagecoach Performing Arts Schools - Worldwide

Stagecoach Performing Arts - Act, Sing, Dance. Build confidence

Stagecoach Performing Arts Schools - Worldwide Description

Stagecoach Performing Arts have been nurturing and developing young people's potential for over 21 years. With over 700 schools worldwide and more than 40, 000 students, Stagecoach is the largest network of part time performing arts schools in the UK. We not only deliver quality performance arts training but ensure that each child gets the most out of their experience by building life skills and confidence while having a lot of fun and meeting new friends.

Every student from aged 4-18 years participates in each of the three musical theatre disciplines - Drama, Dance and Singing. Each three hour session for 6-18 year olds is split into three 1-hour classes, where young people get the chance to learn each skill in small class sizes of similar ages. Children aged 4-6 years are introduced to Stagecoach through Early Stages classes which run for a shorter period of 90 minutes, split into three 30 minute sessions in dance, drama and singing. As we keep class sizes small (15 maximum) we are able to nurture young raw talent alongside encouraging and inspiring those who might need additional confidence building.

Stagecoach is amazing my two boys have been going for 4 years and love it . The boys confidence has grown and grown . One of my boy had speech problems early on and now you would not know thanks to Stagecoach . The teachers are great with my children and help them in every way. My children love singing dancing & acting and have done their grade 1. Has a parent my husband and I are very happy with Stagecoach and would highly recommend it for children of all age groups.

User

Stagecoach Hove has been wonderful for my daughter Izzy. She's been attending for about 5 years now. The principle, Rebecca is excellent - both as an organizer but also as inspiration for the kids - and the tutors are fabulous of course too!

Stagecoach Colchester under the able leadership of Principal Caroline Maxwell , has been our second family/home since our eldest son started at the age of 4 in 2000!! His sister joined at age 4 in 2005 and then our youngest son joined at age 4 in 2010!!!

We have been so proud of the training and work opportunities gained throughout their time at Stagecoach . All of them have gained knowledge, grown in confidence, acquired skills , developed their talents , increased their motivation and developed great friendships with children of like passion in the performing Arts .

They all have a bright future ahead of them . We are glad that our youngest son has successfully auditioned and gained admission into the prestigious Sylvia Young Theatre School in London and will start full time in September 2017. A big thank you to all the teachers who have been instrumental in bringing out the best in our children .

My soon to be 17 year old son has been at stagecoach Oxford since he was 5 years old. He was a shy but very naughty boy when he began. Over the years he has matured and blossomed into this well spoken extrovert.

The skills and abilities he has learnt through stagecoach have definitely helped to equip him for life. As a mother, that is the one thing I have enjoyed - watching him develop and seeing the difference in him. Through stagecoach, not only has he become a fantastic performer, he is a self-assured and confident young man who is able to interact with people from all walks of life.

I would like to thank all the staff at Stagecoach Oxford because you are an extremely hard working team especially Maya Sprigg (who has been the Head since my son started). The shows we have attended over the past 11-12 years have been fantastic. The show that included all the Maltese exchange students and their Oxford counterparts last night was spectacular. As parents, we are extremely proud! The staff make it look easy but we appreciate how difficult it is to put on such wonderful productions. Good work guys!

I am really glad we joined stagecoach 11 years ago. My 4 year old started stagecoach 11 months ago and we can see the positive changes already, so too, can her teachers at school and other family members. Definitely worth the money.

My daughter has been with farnborough stage coach since she was 4, she is now 7. The school is amazing and she has grown so much since being with them. I would recommend the group to anyone. The only reason we are leaving is moving but as we love stage coach she will be joining the group nearest us in Scotland!!!

My daughter goes to stagecoach hull east she received her 4 year award yesterday. She absolutely it I would recommend this to anyone. I sat down and worked out the cost and actually compared it to the dance class she was at all after the costumes and dance competitions I was paying for stagecoach is actually cheaper it is by far the one of the best things I have done for my daughter it has grown her confidence loads x

User

My 7 year old was so painfully shy. When she was in reception she didn't speak to the teachers for a whole half term! Stagecoach has really drawn her out. She is the first to put her hand up in class to answer questions and is always volunteering for things! She goes to Ealing Stagecoach.

User

My 10year old daughter has tried her hand on numerous different hobbies but found they were very clique or not much use. She has been going to Stagecoach Aberdeen West since the start of the year and absolutely loves it. She was confident before joining but even more so now. The staff are great and very friendly and has made lots of friends. There's no cliques and everyone is treated the same. My daughter lives for her Saturday's and looks forward to it every week.

Legally Blonde - A night to remember! Wow and this was not even the final performance - which is tomorrow. Do go if you can - the talent is more than amazing - you leave energised and smiling. Another Oxford Stagecoach Hit. Best ever though!

I have been dancing for over 23 years and this is my 13th year at Stagecoach. I have Downs syndrome and being at Stagecoach has improved my confidence and my speech. I have performed in shows all over the country but my favourite performance was at Disneyland Paris. Thank you Chris and Heather for everything you have taught me and for including me in all the shows.

User

I find it very interesting to educate our children in the performing arts, since it is something innate and personal that working with it helps to develop it. I want to try.

User

Fantastic quality training for all ages! Could not recommend it more! I attended Stagecoach Monmouth from the age of 10 to 16 years-old and I can honestly say it was the best training I could have had to improve my confidence, social skills and performance ability. Thanks to the many opportunities given to me through Stagecoach, including workshops, west end galas, and the annual Easy Stages Productions (now called Summer Showcase), I was accepted into a number of the UK's top Performing Arts Schools and have now finished my first year on the BA(Hons) degree course in Professional Dance and Musical Theatre at Bird College. I believe this would not have happened without the valuable experience I gained from Stagecoach.

User

Couldn't recommend it more. My older sister went purely to boost her confidence and I attended Stagecoach Bridgend and Cowbridge for 14 years as I've always loved performing. I'm now studying a degree in musical theatre at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts London and I don't think I would have gained a place if it wasn't for everything I'd learned at stagecoach 😊

User

Both my children attend stagecoach Bath, and they live for it each week. They have made great friends of all ages and the teachers are amazing. Good luck for another 30 years

User

After revisiting the Stagecoach I attended for 13 years during childhood today and seeing all of my teachers, it reminded me strongly of why I stayed there for the majority of growing up. If you're wanting to send your child to a theatre school not even just for the circumstances of becoming a performer but growing self-confidence, Stagecoach is an excellent place to attend. I highly recommend.
