Good food and guest ales, friendly staff and most importantly dog friendly. Well worth a visit after a long walk or a night time meal. Good location if you are staying in Bowness or visiting the lake.
Our favourite pub in the Lake District! Visited now 5 years in a row, we always go on the last day of the holiday for a meal before we come home. Reasonably priced and huge portions of food, you won't be hungry after eating here! Nice selection of ale, lovely atmosphere and the kids enjoy playing pool and listening to the jukebox. Fantastic pub, can not praise it enough!
Nice pub. Good selection of beers, and decent pub grub. Excellent staff; quick and friendly. Perfect for when the wife wants to shop and I don't!
