WHAT IS DUST SUPPRESSION? Material processing operations such as mining and construction produce large amounts of airborne particles that are hazardous to the environment and employees alike. 'Wet suppression' is an extremely effective way to tackle airborne pollution and we are pleased to supply Hinkley Point with water bowsers such as this one, for use in the elimination of excessive dust. It features a spinning carbon fibre disc to the rear which ensures the economical and effective use of the water. Other benefits include enhanced safety by increasing visibility in the work place, reducing unpleasant odours, maintaining site maintenance standards which cuts down on cleaning costs and reducing equipment wear caused by excessive dust therefore saving money.
