Stan Timmins and Sons Ltd are Checked and vetted approved Tree Surgeons. From our base in Newcastle upon Tyne we cover the whole of Northumberland, Tyne and Wear, County Durham and most of Teesside. So wether you live in Sunderland, Gateshead or Darlington no extra charges will be incurred when quoting for tree work or site clearance services.
Stan is a fellow of the arboricultural association and holds many related academic qualifications including a National Diploma in Arboriculture from the Royal Forestry Society and a Diploma in Horticulture from the Royal Botanic Gardens Edinburgh.
As a company we thrive on ensuring that we remain compliant with industry standards and hold all the relevant N. P. T. C's for undertaking all elements of tree work, planting, hedge cutting, stump grinding, chipping and strimming operations.
We are fully insured with a £10m public and employer liability policy. In addition to this we also hold a £1m professional indemnity policy for arboricultural consultancy.

We would like to wish all our customers old and new a happy Xmas and a happy new year.
We have had a very productive year we have completed two of our biggest commercial contracts to date in the last four weeks we have cleared a site at Alnwick for the new retail park and thinned a woodland by 20% for a major national house builder and built a rustic footpath out of logs and woodchip for all to enjoy.
... We are looking forward to starting the new hat with one or two smaller domestic jobs before we get stuck into more site clearance contracts.

We are currently in the processing of undertaking a woodland thinning contract for a major national house builder, here are some of the photos from last week.
We can confirm that approximately 21.5 tonnes of the woodchip produced on our Alnwick site clearance has gone to be used as biomass chip at a local power station today.

I recently had Liam and his team cut down 2 conifers in my garden. Great price, done in one day, and Liam is the only one out of all the people I had round to do quotes, who actually shook my hand at the door! Professional and friendly, would definitely recommend.
I had a large hedge row moved by Liam and his lads. They did a very good job and left the place nice and tidy.
Had Liam around this morning, did a great job trimming back, very punctual and tidied up all the rubbish - fab job!
Had 3 large conifers removed from front garden, including stumps.
Really pleased with Liam and his team - professional, courteous, prompt and tidy. Thank you so much Liam. I would definitely recommend your company to others.
