lovely meal here on Friday,best in a long time.Could not fault it.Loved the black olive and thyme mash with our creamy peppercorn roast chicken...very different.Our first visit....wont be our last

We’ve eaten here a few times... the tapas here is just something else! We love it & it’s amazing value for money as the portions are generous... however, last night was different... there was 15 of us, for an 18th, all eating off the main menu. Brian and Olly were fantastic, from me booking right up until us leaving. Everyone loved their meals, the food was superb. Even with my hiccup of 13 bookings yet 15 came... (oops!) not a big deal & easily smoothed over. I was ‘allowed’ to put up some banners, balloon & other decor bits & leave the cake on the table ready for guests arriving. The staff are fab, friendly & polite. We highly recommend this place anyway, but for a bigger group of people we will now too. How lucky are we that this is our local!

Went tonite for a family meal, all ten of us. The food was amazing and with a service second to none. The evening was fantastic, thankyou to all the staff for your attention to our table, will be returning in the future with family, thankyou all.

Went last night for Tapas. Ordered nearly one of everything from the tapas menu and we were blown away by the portion sizes. Definitely over ordered for 2 people! Piping hot food arrived quickly considering there where 11 very different dishes. Would definitely recommend.

We had a little gathering here today following a children’s charity walk. The pub is beautifully decorated inside and the outside areas are fantastic. Couldn’t fault the service and the food was amazing! Thanks to all staff who looked after us and for your generous offering of drinks for all children when they arrived.

Really nice looking place, staff were very friendly, and the menu was really affordable

Only a slight criticism and that’s the service was a little slow to say it wasn’t that busy when we were there

And some other side options would be nice on the menu

Really enjoyed our family meal for Sunday lunch yesterday.

It’s great to see a pub/restaurant serving honest , good quality food,without all the pomp and drama that so many places get wrong when trying to impress. Whilst the food did indeed look good, this was certainly not style over substance like a lot of other establishments. As a food snob, for which I make no apology for , it was great to eat good quality, clean, fresh tasting food.

For around £20 for a lovey three course meal and a drink, what’s not to like.



Having tried virtually every other place for a Sunday roast, I’m not sure I’ll need to go anywhere else if this standard keeps up .

My Aunty and I had a delicious two course lunch today. Butterfly chicken followed by Raspberry Creme brûlée with Chantilly cream, fish & chips followed by bread & butter pudding served with custard. Ten pounds for two courses excellent service from happy and polite staff. Highly recommended!!!

Lovely food...Staff were so friendly and welcoming..great service! Witnessed a group of customers being extremely rude to the staff and giving them a hard time, was not deserved as the waiting staff couldn't have been more helpful!!! We will definitely be back.

Incredible first(not the last) experience at stanhill tonight for fathers day! 3 of the best courses of food i have had in years and for £17!!

Me and the wife are both in the catering industry more often than not we have something to moan at but tonight was not the case. 3 very generous courses of high quality food, when we have more time off we will definitely be returning.

Have just returned from having one of the most amazing meals in a long time. A friend and I took out children and the children's meals were exceptional. Our meals were presented really well and tasted fantastic. Homely feel to pub and staff were attentive and friendly. Would definitely recommend .

Had a meal for 22 tonight for mum's 75th birthday and daughter's 18th. The food, service, atmosphere, bar staff, absolutely everything was 1st class. Thank you so much, well deserved of a 5 star rating

First time eating here as a family and we loved it. Really good children’s food. I have coeliac disease and was surprised at the choice, the salmon was incredible. The staff are very friendly and all really welcoming. Its a fab place! Only thing I would change is an option for a gluten free dessert

Been twice now , both times in the beer garden. The food was top notch and served with a smile and good attitude. Will defo be going again to dine inside which looks very chic and classy.

Second weekend in a row visiting Stanhill, the food is lovely....presentation is beautiful and the food tastes so yummy. Only disappointment was the dessert menu....what’s wrong with classic puddings?! Chocolate fudge cake & apple crumble would tempt me, too many fancy things that no-ones heard of. 5 star if you can add a couple of normal desserts �� doesn’t put me off though, I’ll be back again!

Our daughter came over from Manchester to treat us for lunch. We had previously visited the Stanhill for an enjoyable evening meal so suggested it. We had a lovely time, lovely surroundings, delicious food and great staff. Our daughter was very impressed and she eats at nice Manchester restaurants. My only criticism is using slates for pudding! I know it’s a ‘chefy fad ‘ looks good but simple white crockery is so much nicer to eat off! We will be back !

Had previously been for an evening meal with friends, only to be disappointed by the poor customer service our party received. However based on other reviews we decided to try Stanhill at lunch time and what a difference. Sacha the lady who served us is a credit to your restaurant, polite, helpful and welcoming. Food was scrumptious and excellent value for money. Would definately recommend a visit to Stanhill at lunch time.
