We're hosting a Christmas decorating party at the halls! Christmas comes but once a year, let’s get together for some holiday cheer. Please join us for our annual "Deck The Halls" gathering at Stanley Halls.
We're asking for volunteers to join us to help get Stanley Halls ready for the festive season. You provide the helping hands…we'll provide mince pies, beverages and lots of fun!
No admission fee - just bring yourselves :)

Did you know we have an amazing Beginners Embroidery Workshop here at Stanley Halls in 2 weeks?! Taught in a relaxed and friendly environment by embroiderer, print-maker and graphic novelist Gareth Brookes (MA, RCA).

What a lovely venue with incredibly helpful, polite staff and a great little coffee shop.

What a lovely venue for an intimate folk gig. Friendly staff, great local beer, fantastic sound. I'd love to go again :)

Visited for the first time yesterday as it's the new show venue for Phoenix Players and was so impressed - both by the building which is beautiful and by the friendly, welcoming staff. Keep up the good work guys! And yes, I am available for marketing purposes, David... haha.

The Halls are truly majestic and the staff help to bring that alive! We've been for parties and the family cinema and we look forward to seeing what they've got up their sleeves :-)

Stanley Halls: what an excellent ceilidh venue; wonderful sound, great lighting, and a brilliant floor. It would be improved by having more dancers, so go on, find out when the next ceilidh's on, and give it a try!

Stanley Halls is such an amazing space and the craft beer selection is great.

So fab that this treasure of a building is being used in so many creative ways for the community. Film club is amazing, theatre productions excellent, imaginative food available at events and local!!!

My girls had an amazing time today ! Such a lovely event and all for free. Can't thank you enough x

It was my sisters birthday and coming to see Amanda Forbes and Jonathan Wiseman made her day really special. What a beautiful place Stanley Halls is.

I used to do karate here on Tuesday evenings as a child in the 1990s. Anyone on here go to that too?

I came for Aelfa Academy of Dramatic Arts' Cabaret Night on 28 March, which was so much fun! The students of Stanley Halls resident drama school are very talented. I highly recommend their shows to everyone.

I am so impressed by the set up the friendliness, organisation and community feel. The theatre production itself was so fabulous will definately be returning to as many events as I can and proud to be a Trail Blazer member

Great venue full of glitter and gold from the cinema era! They even have the old paper ticket!

Great venue and great comedy at this lovely place. We spent a very happy Saturday afternoon listening to comedy acts and drinking and eating. Recommend to everyone!

Excellent venue. Got to see three excellent acts at 'The Streets' festival and I still can't believe it was FREE. Outstanding �

Beautiful building made it a perfect place for a beer festival.

Am afraid that this lovely coffee place will be discovered and get too popular - at the moment though not cheap, is certainly good value and the atmosphere is relaxed and enjoyable. Young families are catered for and the food is very good.
