Well that can I say 5* isn’t enough it should be 10* we have Just come back from celebrating my mums early 60th birthday One World AMAZING x From booking on the phone to all the extra details balloon/champagne nothing was to much trouble. The rooms were beautiful as for the spa and breakfast � We will Definitely be back again amazing location with amazing staff the place is a credit to you definitely recommend 5* all the way

We had a wonderful time at Stanley House yesterday. I was treating my mum-in-law to the spa and patisserie package and we were hugely impressed with all elements of our day. The warm and courteous staff in all areas. The environment is extremely luxurious and we both felt very relaxed during our spa experience and our treatments. The afternoon tea in Mr Fred's was both delicious and plentiful. We now look forward to my step-daughters wedding here next year.

We had a wonderful break at Stanley house this week to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. Our suite was beautiful and the spa journey so relaxing. The meal and cocktails in the grill on the hill were wonderful and the chateaubriand was totally delicious. Superb service in a beautiful setting. Already planning a return visit.

We got married here last month and I have to say it was the most wonderful day of our lives! Everything from start to finish was just perfect. Everyone commented on how calm I was from the moment we booked our date and this was partly down to chosing Stanley house as my venue. Emma and the rest of the fantastic team of staff thought of everything, helped with everything and really did go above and beyond to make sure our day was just perfect. The suppliers they work with again were superb. The Flower Shop & Brides Helper are two to mention! The day was perfect from start to finish and I could not recommend Stanley House enough! Full five stars for venue, staff, accommodation, food....the list could go on! Thank you from the bottom of my heart ♡

We got married here in September last year and every second of the day was better than we could have ever imagined. Bethany was excellent in answering our many questions in the months before going through everything with us and helping us plan our day. We visited the day before and met Megan for the first time. Megan was superb on the day, nothing was ever too much trouble for her and her organisation is second to none.

Every one of our guests complimented the food, from the canapés to the wedding breakfast, through to the evening buffet. The service provided during the wedding breakfast was faultless. The rooms were immaculate. We had 20 odd guests stay over with us and everyone said how amazing their room was.

We visited the spa a couple of weeks after the wedding, receiving the full body massage. It was another excllent experience and we will be returning again in the near future.

We can't recommend Stanley House enough. Thank you all so much for giving us the best day ever. Tom & Leah Galloway

We cannot thank Stanley House enough for giving us the best wedding day we could have asked for. From start to finish, the day was perfect. Special mentions go to Emma for her help and planning leading up to the wedding day. Also Megan who ensured the smooth running of proceedings and constantly put us at ease throughout the day.

All of our guests had lots of compliments for the food, service, rooms and venue itself.

Stanley House is now starting to become our home from home. We are always there whether it be for a night's stay, spa or the great food in the Grill on the Hill.

11 years ago my husband and I were lucky enough to of got married here! It was the most amazing day ever.. we return every year on our anniversary sometimes for food and sometimes overnight with use of the spa..never have we been disappointed with our visits.



Yesterday was my birthday and was surprised to find that my parents and husband had chosen Stanley House for birthday lunch..... we all enjoyed every bit of food and drink and they even gave my a glass of Prosecco on the house as my birthday treat! It’s these special touches that add to an already amazing place.



Recommend over and over again!!

Our home from home... and our favourite, special place! Stanley House has become a truly special place in our hearts and we cannot recommend it enough to anyone who has not yet visited. Whether it is for a stay in the hotel, a trip to the spa, or dining in the amazing Grill on the Hill our experience has been nothing but 5 star each and every time we have visited. After a surprise proposal here at Stanley House last year, my husband and I were lucky enough to get married here in February this year and what a truly amazing experience it was from start to finish. The day itself was out of this world and perfect in every single way. All the staff that were involved in the day were incredible and all deserve recognition for their hard work and professionalism! We must give special thanks to Emma for her help and support in planning our day and to Megan for making sure everything went to plan on the day! Also thanks to Joe for his help and night and to the chefs... WOW!!!! Thanks for really making us feel like part of the family and for all the special memories!

My daughter booked us both in here for a overnight stay as a Christmas present and what a delight it was, from the minute we arrived nothing was too much trouble for any member of staff, I didn't get his name but a young lad served us our evening meal and he was lovely. The room we had was very spacious with everything you need and the bathroom had a very large bath and large walk in shower all very tastefully decorated with a fantastic view of the country side. Breakfast was most delightful, we chose porridge with sultanas soaked in whisky followed by two softly boiled eggs with soldiers. We will definitely return �

I have been to Stanley house on quite a few occasions now and honestly each experience has been excellent. The staff are so welcoming and always attentive to your needs. My opinion of Stanley house spa itself is so tranquil relaxing and well maintained with fantastic views and scenery were ever you are within the spa. Always enjoy my lunch and beverages are available all the time throughout your visit. Thanks for my perfect escape for the day yesterday was amazing as usual and I look forward to my next visit.

I had the most amazing time at Stanley house spa! I enjoyed the Pamper Day package and can honestly say it was amazing from start to finish. From the welcome at the entrance desk to my lunch at Mr Freds, I can’t fault it! My time in the thermal suite was very peaceful as I was either completely on my own or with one other person. Definitely good to go as early in the morning as possible! My Ila Bliss facial was amazing! My therapist Roxanne was so gentle and very good. I can honestly say it is one of the best facials I have ever had! I was very impressed that I could choose anything I wanted from the menu at Mr Fred’s up to a certain value. The cheeky glass of prosecco just topped it off! I would thoroughly recommend a visit to the spa. I certainly hope to be back very, very soon.

From the moment I booked it for my wife's 40th Birthday we received fantastic service.

The room was really nice and modern, the spa is really well run and really nice inside giving you a relaxing time from everyday life.

Fantastic experience in both the spa and the restaurant. The room was beautiful with an excellent view. Geese and their goslings on the lawn with rabbits.

Celebrated my boyfriends birthday here yesterday.. enjoyed the thermal journey and massage, before an amazing evening meal, followed by staying overnight in a gorgeous room..

Can I say if you had employee of the month then top marks go to Anna!

We had never been to a spa before and probably came across as quite nervous and apprehensive. Anna made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived, explained everything in detail, showed us round and cane to check on us throughout our day. This made us feel comfortable and relaxed throughout our experience at the spa.

Our therapist was excellent and our treatments amazing!

Afternoon tea was huge! Most enjoyable and we were stuffed, relaxed and very happy when we left! Highly recommend and will definitely be returning.
