Good morning everyone. We hope you have had a lovely summer. We are looking forward to starting our new term tomorrow by carrying out our home visits to some of you. Please remember that you have all been invited to 'stay and play' sessions this Thursday and Friday so we look forward to seeing you all at pre-school then. Please note that your child's first full week of sessions will not start until Monday 10th September. We are looking forward to seeing you all!

Thankyou all for the many generous gifts and cards with such lovely kind words. Thanks for your support over the year we couldn’t do our jobs so well without you! Have a fabulous summer and enjoy the amazing adventure that is to come at BIG school. Remember your children are absolutely amazing all in their own unique way 🧡🧡🧡

Today we received the first eggs that our chicks, Who have grown into chickens, laid. We cracked them, whisked them, cooked them in the microwave and made yummy scrambled eggs.

Just a quick update on the trip tomorrow... we just received an email to say the park is not open till 10am. If you are making your own way there please aim for 10am. If you are coming by coach, it is too late to change the booking so please be a preschool for 9am. If we can delay the journey on the morning we can play at preschool for a short while so we are not waiting at Avon Valley. Sorry for the mix up. Please share with everyone who is coming. Thanks

TOMORROWS TRIP- if you are coming on the coach. It is leaving at 9am so please all get here at 850am. It will then leave Avon valley at 230 to ensure we are all back at school for 3pm. For those making their own way there, we shall meet you all outside at 930 and then you can all stay for as long as you like! For anyone NOT coming on the trip. Please remember preschool is CLOSED tomorrow and we shall be here for our last day of term on Friday.

We have lots of outstanding money owed for snack/additional service charge. Please be aware that Friday is the last day of term so all monies MUST be paid by then. Thank you

If any of our new families are on here and are starting in the toddler room in September.. you will have received your handbook advising that we are home visiting you on Monday 4th September. Please be advised is should say MONDAY 3rd SEPTEMBER and not the 4th. Very sorry, I blame the heat!!! Please can you pass this on to anyone who this may be relevant for! Sorry!

Do any of our parents/carers attend any of the local toddler groups? If so, are you able to hand out some of our leaflets for us? Please see leanne in the office if so... thank you!

Today is the deadline for replies for our trip to Avon valley on the 19th. We are still waiting for hear from over half of you!!! Please be aware that if we do not hear from you then we shall have to assume that you aren't coming but please remember pre-school shall be CLOSED on that day.

Don’t forget trip money and slips are due back on Monday. We hope you can make it.

Don't forget that we need your reply slips back for our trip by Monday at the very latest. Remember if you need transport then still return the slip as we cannot order a coach until we know how many to book for! Out of 90 children we have only received 4 replies!!!

Thank you all for coming to our father’s day picnic on Friday afternoon. It was lovely to see so many Dad’s, Grandads and other family members. We hope you enjoyed Father’s Day.

This pre-school is a very enjoyable place to be. Its fantastic! My son absolutely loves going and I enjoy very much helping out as a parent helper :-) All the staff are welcoming and friendly! My son and i have made so many friends :-) x

Such a fantastic pre-school! The staff are amazing and have been brilliant with my little girl, couldn't ask for anymore. Will be very sad when she leaves, as I'm sure she will be too!

Such a fantastic pre school, it deserves 10 stars! My daughter loves it and has learnt so much already. There are always lots of varied and stimulating activities to play with and the staff are lovely.

Staple Hill Stars pre school is amazing. Our Son Started just over a wk ago in the toddler room. All staff are very caring & friendly. Keep up the great work Ladies xxx

Staple Hill Stars is our local pre-school and I feel so lucky as I really could not imagine a better place for both my children. The managers and teachers are fantastic and are always approachable and welcoming to the whole family as well as the preschool children. My children had different needs and likes/dislikes and I've seen both thrive from the care and interest of the staff. Thank you- I'm going to miss my pick up and drop offs!

Staple Hill Stars is a fantastic pre-school! My son started in the toddler room last year and is now in his last term in the pre-school room. The staff are friendly and professional, the early years provision is excellent and my son is thriving. �

My little boy loves it here. the staff are excellent and he always comes back with a smile on his face :) brilliant pre school

My little boy loves it here , ive noticed such a big change since he's started, his speech has come along so well and he is always comes out smiling telling me about his day! And cant get him to stop singing all the songs he sings there! Staff are lovely and make me and my son feel very welcome x

My Daughter has just completed her 2 years at Staple Hill Stars. A fantastic pre-school, with excellent facilities and amazing staff. A great start to early education. Thoroughly recommended.

Its my girl last day at pre school today she has loved the whole 2 years experience. Meeting new people and children. I'm sure she will miss everyone. Would definitely recommend it. X
