The right candidate will have a talent for teaching that meets an individual swimmer's requirements. Additionally you will have a proven track record of achieving targets and working with and managing colleagues (Assistant Instructors, In-Pool Helpers, Junior In-Pool Helpers) during lessons.
Swimming instructors working at Star Swimming Academy Ltd must hold and maintain either a Swim England Level 2 Teaching Swimming Qualification, a STA Certificate in Teaching Swimming or a STA Award in Teaching Swimming. Additionally, a Current pool rescue & first aid qualification, for example National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ), STA Pool Lifeguard Qualification, a STA Safety Award for Instructors or a National Rescue Award for Swimming Instructors and Coaches (NRASTC). Would recommend Star swimming to anyone and have already done so to my friends! My little boy started 3 weeks ago and absolutely loves it and Is already becoming so confident in the water while learning so much ! The people are amazing! We'll miss it next week пҝҪпҝҪ xx

Will and his team of coaches at star swimming are great at what they do for the children of all ages, they keep them relaxed and happy in the lesson which makes it so enjoyable to watch your child gain confidence in learning to swim and it's something they will always need. A happy child is a happy mummy and daddy. Well done Will and your Team you are a credit to helping kids learn to swim.

These guys taught my son to swim from when he was 3 years old - yes 3 years old, it was the only place in Knowsley at the time that were teaching children under 5. Nowhere else was teaching under 5's. Their lessons are fun, friendly and professional. They're very approachable and they are so passionate about teaching children a life saving skill that is swimming. These guys are the best out there at what they do- first class. пҝҪ

The guys here are great with the kids, Louie took to Will, the personal time commitment and effort he gave Louie built his confidence where he is now made up an awesome in the water. My 6 year old daughter has just finished a weeks crash course with Julie & Tracy. Before starting here sheвҖҷd had 18 months worth of lessons with a different swimming business but she wasnвҖҷt enjoying them and didnвҖҷt feel confident in the water so we decided to give star swimming a try! The progress Amelie has made in such a short space of time is unbelievable! she is now full of confidence and has really enjoyed this week, I am so proud of her!! I've had the pleasure to work with Will, Tracy and the instructors of the Star Swimming Academy for over 6 years as their Web/Graphic designer and itвҖҷs been so rewarding for me to see how hard they work to teach and encourage children to swim! It's a testimony to their hard work that the Star Swimming Academy has been recognised by many as one if not the best Learn to Swim Organisations in Merseyside! Absolutely first rate swimming tuition, Will and his team did an amazing job teaching my two daughters how to swim at Formby Hall, Will made it so much fun and his passion is out of this world.... Highly recommended.
