Welcome back to our litigation Partner Jonathan Starck and solicitor James Incledon who both recently travelled to America at the 11th hour on instruction of our client to track down and convince a long lost relative to help his grandfather’s girlfriend’s family by discharging his late grandfather’s wishes to transfer the English estate into her name following the death and pursuant to our successful claim on her behalf under the Inheritance (provision for family and dependen...ce) Act 1975. They successfully tracked him down in rural Connecticut, negotiated and completed legal formalities resulting in our client now becoming the proprietor of a £500k property in London.
Our contested probate department has taken on an international dimension with recent cases involving clients and assets in far-afield jurisdictions such as America, Trinidad, Australia, France and Ethiopia. Their smiles may hint to future foreign travel?!

Jonathan Starck was invited to the Royal Box at Wembley today to watch the Man City v Chelsea Caraboa cup final. The mental health charity #Mind has forged a partnership with the football league and were raising awareness at the match and their important message was able to reach thousands of fans.
