Went there Sat for brunch. Ordered eggs royal and my friend had a veggie breakfast. It was amazing! Poached eggs cooked to perfection, beautiful salmon and the sauce was also as hollandaise should be. It had a green jus, not sure what it was? But it worked wonderfully! Great smoothie. Fast service. Dog friendly. I'll be back asap!

Top notch service and quality food! Love the decor and the windows which allow so much natural light in. Thoroughly enjoyed the delicious pancakes served with bacon (cooked to order) blueberries and the perfect amount of syrup. Big ups Tony and the team!

This gem of a cafe recently opened in Brighton - in summary, an oasis of excellence. Understated style and a relaxed ambiance set the scene on first encounter. Welcoming, friendly & attentive staff led by Tony Marks serve delicious food and coffee. It is clear much thought has been given as to how this cafe can meet the needs of the local community and visitors alike - it succeeds in abundance on both counts. Surely a rising 'Star' in the Brighton cafe scene - the clue is in the name, 'Starfish & Coffee'. Good luck Tony and team - live the dream, you deserve too. Our first trip to starfish and coffee today was awesome.

Great atmosphere, delicious food and drinks, perfect for our 3 year old too.

Everything is well thought out, from the menu to the decor and even the music are all part of the experience.



It is exactly what is needed in the Queens Park area.

Myself my husband and our puppy ruby popped in to the cafe recently for some lunch. Myself and my partner had a breakfast and it was amazing. I know most people say you can’t go wrong with a breakfast but for me it’s all about the sausages. I hate it when you go to a cafe and they serve really cheap sausages but not at starfish and coffee proper real meaty sausages and poached eggs as well which were excellent. Ruby was also very pleased with her tasty sausage as well and we loved the fact it was dog friendly. It was really busy when we went in but it was worth the wait. Another bonus was being able to add halloumi to the breakfast reminds me of being on holiday in Cyprus. We will defiantly be back I would love to try some other dishes on the menu as it all sounds amazing.

My partner and I came here for the first time this morning. Even though it was really busy, the owner took the time to greet us and make sure we were comfortable.



We both had the English Breakfast, I had an orange juice and my partner had an Americano. We had to wait a little bit for our food to arrive (presumably because it was so busy!) but when it came it not only looked great but tasted amazing too! The sausage in particular was delicious. Baked beans weren't as I expected (not like sugary beans from a can) but were great too. And I'll be the first to admit that I think poached eggs are a bit rubbish compared to scrambled or fried, but oh boy, the chef sure does know how to poach an egg perfectly!



It's perhaps a little bit pricey for us to be coming by regularly, but it'll definitely be our go-to for a special treat from now on.

I travelled all the way from Suffolk to experience your brunch it came so highly recommended and it didn’t disappoint. Lovely atmosphere, great food, hard to get a table it was so busy, and yet the food didn’t take overly long to arrive. Coffee was good. Life was good. Slight shame you don’t have any redbush tea, maybe you could add that to your drinks list. Totally worth the drive �

I contacted this cafe when looking for a small local venue to host my baby shower and Tony and the team were 5* helpful right from the beginning.

We worked together to put together a bespoke afternoon tea menu including a bubbly reception for a very reasonable cost and nothing was too much trouble.



The shower was held this Sunday for 32 people - we were able to use the whole place after it closed to the public for the day at 3pm, it was laid out perfectly and the afternoon tea that they catered would easily match any famous London hotel for 5* quality and presentation ( & I should know as I am a professional concierge!).



We had the MOST wonderful afternoon here and the atmosphere was perfect. If you are looking for a great place to have coffee, brunch or a special intimate event I thoroughly 100% recommend Starfish and Coffee :)

Have only popped In for a coffee so far, but what a coffee it was! Great service and a lovely atmosphere. Food looked great as well so will definitely be back to eat some of those sweet sweet eggs.

Had a fantastic brunch at Starfish and coffee this morning. Gorgeous avocado and feta on toast while the wife had a stack of pancakes. It's a beautiful venue with lovely staff and really really good coffee. We don't live anywhere near it but I know it will be a regular haunt. For a cafe that's only been open a week they're doing brilliantly.

Great new addition to the Hanover and Queens Park food scene and to the city as a whole. Food is great. Can highly recommend the pancake stack with bacon. The tea was lovely. Its so nice to get proper loose leaf tea. Have had coffee there also which is so good. Think I will be a regular there going forward. Staff are so friendly and welcoming even though they were rushed off their feet today.

Gorgeous cafe in a lovely location. There's so many different foods to choose from, and the Nutella pancakes I had were delicious! Would definitely recommend popping in and getting a cuppa at least, to enjoy this beautiful little cafe!

First visit for me today with my family (2 adults and 2 kids) and it was smashing. Great coffee and delicious food. Relaxed and friendly yet fantastic service. I really recommend it and I'll be back soon!

Epic brunch at Starfish & Coffee this morning. Perfectly ripe avocados & roasted toms on toast, pancakes with streaky bacon, blueberries & maple syrup and berry granola with yogurt - all delicious and presented beautifully.

Very nice aromatic loose leaf tea and fresh juice all faultless.

Lovely staff and a perfect welcoming atmosphere (dog and child friendly) set on the edge of stunning Queens Park. Highly recommended.

Beautifully decorated, friendly staff, great menu. This is a new cafe and is doing brilliantly. The coffee is delicious and locally sourced along with most other ingredients used here. We went with our toddler and there is a good selection for her too. We will be back �
