Starwrick supported Housing is a dynamic and modern housing scheme that provides semi-independent accommodation and Outreach support to young people ages 16 to 25. We equip this client group with life skills and provide overall support for their well-being: -physical, emotional, intellectual and social; skills that are all necessary for a successful transition to adulthood and be able to live and cope independently.

Our Housing Semi-Independence Programme enables adolescents to live in shared accommodations with 24 hours staffing and progressing to more independent living; where they can live in their own flats, but with appropriate level of supervision. Each young person is treated as an individual: – we will listen to the young person and design a person centred support plan that would be specific to their needs, supporting them to acquire practical skills that will empower and sustain a smooth adult transition.

Our goal as on organisation is create an environment for the young person to achieve their full potentials, providing opportunities for the young person to succeed.

The accommodation provided by Starwrick Housing is vetted by Local Environmental Health units, Health and Safety units, the fire department, gas and electrical inspectors and complies with all the requirements and standards set out by these agencies prior to being available. Our accommodation is fully furnished, comes with bed linen, cooking utensils, bed-sheets, blankets etc for the young person’s comfort.

We also offer the young person the opportunity to personalise their rooms once they move in, adding their own colour and touch to it. This helps the young person to feel more at home in their new living space which impacts them positively and helps them in settling in quicker and engaging with the service. The cost of accommodation and support varies depending on the needs of the young person.
