Found a little gem of an eatery this afternoon in Charminster. In the words of Arnie (which is quite appropriate given the theme of the place) ‘I’ll be back’! Good food at an honest price and happy, friendly staff. Well done Starz.

Fabulous ham and tomato omelette SW style cooked by the lovely Fernanda Pazzanese at this great retro style diner. Had forgotten how much I love the 60's music always playing here. Long overdue visit ����

Brilliant for any occasion, be it a couple of drinks, date, get together, meal, or any other occasion u may fancy !

Visited this morning for a special Father’s Day breakfast and whilst the food was lovely, due to the fact that it was really really busy, there were only 2 waitresses and 1 chef, we had to wait an hr for our food, which with a 2.5 yr old was a bit of a challenge and not what we had hoped for! Also, you need a better table booking system; we had booked and thankfully there was a table reserved for us, but another family who arrived shortly after us and had also reserved a table, we’re turned away as there was no tables available. Starz has always been a favourite of ours, esp for breakfast on a special occasion and whilst we are likely to return we would now probably think twice if our visit was going to be at a busy time (I.e a weekend) which is a real shame.

I used to come every weekend 'morning after' for a famous breakfast. But yesterday's experience under new management was awful. Brekkie was ok, the home made Oreo cheesecake was completely gone off. They didn't charge for it, however they should have let us off the whole bill. Left an awful taste of mouldy milk ruining the whole experience.

We waited 45 minutes for 2 small breakfasts, although the staff were polite the service was very slow and had to ask for butter and napkins 4 times, the food was cold and the tables were dirty. The waitresses said sorry way too much, which then just makes the apology insignificant.

Sat insise by the door with people smoking on the veranda. With smoke coming in and there is clearly signs saying no smoking by law.

Said to management, and they closed the door rather than asking people to not smoke on their veranda.

It is now roasting hot as the place is full.

Poor choice for management.

All I can smell and taste is smoke.

It's gone so down hill. The breakfast tasted gross - it was like powdered scrambled egg you get on a Ryan Air flight. The chips had been re heated, so were dry and dark from all the oil. For the price of the bill it didn't match the quality of food. Used to love Starz breakfast's for a hangover fix� oh and the waitress was so slow and moody - yet the diner was empty. Wonder why...
