It was a excellent experience came down with my friend who won the competition. I guess it would of been one of their busiest days as England playing Columbia. When we got there Jenny treated us like VIP'S all night even though you was nearly full i take my hat off to you guys when it finished how quick Georgie and her team was able to turn the pub round. I cannot folt any of the staff at all last night :-)

I was the lucky winner of the competition to win a booth to watch the England match along with food and drinks. We had a fantastic time and were treated like royalty. All the staff went above and beyond to ensure that we had a great experience, the atmosphere was electric as England won on penalties � I would especially like to mention Jen, who ensured that we had a wonderful night, nothing was too much trouble. Georgia and Caitlin were also really helpful, friendly and efficient. Thank you to everyone at Steinbeck & Shaw, from a very grateful competition winner!!

We didn’t stay here long, the attitudes of the bar staff stink. Firstly they took my friend’s order and forgot to make it, then made the cocktails wrong but refused to admit it. A different bar woman later on refused to recommend an alternative cocktail when they were out of tonic (on a Saturday night) - I didn’t hear that so asked for gin and tonic instead, only to get shouted at for not hearing. I got a gin and lemonade with a lump of ice but no lemon or anything instead. My friend came out 2 minutes later with a gin and tonic, needless to say we left just after thanks to her pure rudeness and lying apparently. Definitely wouldn’t recommend!

Really disappointed by this place. Myself and two friends went on the basis that it was half price drinks, but there's basically nothing else to recommend this place. They couldn't make half the cocktails we asked for because they didn't have the ingredients, and the cocktails they did make weren't even nice. Bar staff clearly haven't been trained to make cocktails properly - you can't run a cocktail bar if your staff can't shake cocktails.
