HAVING THE WRONG PLANNING CAN SERIOUSLY DAMAGE YOUR WEALTH

Basic “Mirror” wills, are really only suitable for very basic circumstances – they do not offer protection to beneficiaries from losing out because of remarriage, creditors, divorcing partners or the TAXMAN who takes 40% of everything over the Nil Rate Band (currently £325K). Beneficiaries can lose their benefits and orphaned children can be taken into care.
