The Little Explorers did me proud at our annual childminding sports day! ⭐️

International mud day at Forest School today = loads of fun!!

Although we love being out and about we also love being at home too!

2nd crop of the year...Beetroot, lettuce, and spring onions! We enjoyed the lettuce with our lunch and added beetroot into our smoothies 😋

The stage was a HUGE hit for all the ages (will definitely be doing this again!) 🥁 🎸 🎤

Carrying on our 30 days wild with splashing in streams and pond dipping! 🐸

We have started our 30 days wild, every day this month we will be doing something in the great outdoors! So far, we have felt the grass between our toes, found shapes from cloud watching and been bug hunting!

The children have really enjoyed watching the life cycle of a butterfly 🦋 over the past month.

Very productive day down at the allotment. Pond made ✅ potatoes, carrots, radish, and onions planted ✅ wild flowers sown to hopefully attract the bees and butterflies 🦋 ✅

We have had a fantastic half term! We visited lots of different places such as the beach, zoo, farms, forests, and country parks 😊

Absolutely loving being able to run Forest School sessions! Today the children enjoyed toasting marshmallows over the campfire, painting with mud, low ropes, climbing trees and helping each other to cross the mud pit!

Our allotment is shaping up lovely!

Week 3 of Forest School consisted of den building, experimenting with different ways to swing on the hammock. Nature art, bug hunting and of course nor forgetting mud play!

The children have all shown a huge interest in science experiments 🧪 I love seeing their reactions when they make them work!

Week 2 of Forest School, we made bird feeders and then used our binoculars to look for birds. We climbed trees, had a go on the rope swing and hammock then squelched in the mud and practiced using the flint and steel!!

I started our first Forest School sessions today and we had a Fabulous time! 🌲
