Here at Steven Maude Plumbing and Heating I am a highly experienced and dedicated tradesman, I take huge pride in every job carried out. I will only be happy when the job is done, exceeds your expectations and you are happy to recommend me to your friends, relatives or neighbours. That’s my aim.
I am a registered gas installer, fully qualified-apprenticeship trained and fully insured to 2 million pounds public liability.
Every job, large or small, is equally important to me.
I work very closely with other trades and dependant on the scale of the job, I can provide any necessary trade in order to help get the job done. I will manage the works from start to finish saving you the hassle or stress of having to deal with or find the correct tradesperson.
I also have excellent working relations with all local plumbing, bathroom, heating suppliers. So much so I can point you in the right direction when it comes to the design and supply of your new bathroom, kitchen or boiler etc. I can help you choose /design the bathroom /kitchen that you desire, taking away any problems involved in these works, saving you time and making sure you get the best price at all times.

A new Worcester 25/32 external oil boiler installed along with a new oil tank.
Paving slabs laid for the new oil tank and trench dug out by hand for the oil supply line.
Boiler installed to customer preference and heating pipes into the property fully insulated, boxed in and painted.

Garage conversion into a new kitchen and new oil boiler installation.
A build I project managed on behalf of the customer. The customer had a double sized garage which was an unused space-so they wanted to use half of the existing garage to convert into a new kitchen and remove their old kitchen to give a larger liveable internal space.
An internal block wall was built and 2 x new windows were added with a new external door and fire door.
... I laid the sub floor to building control spec. The walls were fitted out with insulated board and skimmed after 1st fix electrics-all new sockets and lighting appropriate for the new kitchen position and 1st fix plumbing.
Walls painted, electric underfloor heating fitted, then I laid the new finished flooring. Next I fitted the new kitchen, 2nd fixed plumbing and new appliances fitted. A new outside tap fitted with external electric socket.
Next a new Worcester 25/32 oil boiler fitted into a new position in the existing garage with new heating controls and MagnaClean system protector.
All in all a really good project completed to budget and total customer satisfaction.

Conventional to combination boiler renewal, 30 years + heat only boiler, cylinder and cold water tanks removed.
A Baxi Platinum 33 gas combi boiler installed along with new pipework, radiators, towel radiator, designer vertical radiator and valves.

Commercial project.
Another commercial contract completed for Carillion Amey and Tom Willoughby Ltd.
Hot water issues corrected in occupied accommodation for RAF personnel.
... Limescale issues in riser pipework meant that most personnel had very poor hot water supplies to their en-suites. I renewed the pipework for copper pipe and with a larger bore size which now has eliminated any issues.
Excellent job completed to schedule and very happy RAF personnel.

Boiler renewal.
Old and undersized external oil combi boiler replaced with a new correctly sized Grant oil combi with vertical flue.
The boiler was moved over from its previous position due to a garden room being built and the new boiler also supplies power to new underfloor heating I also installed (the room floor covering approximately 18m2.)
Bathroom alteration.
Bath removed and a large easy to use shower installed for an elderly customer-new tray, shower and screen fitted alongside some very modern and stylish multi-panel shower wall boards that complement the existing bathroom style and colour.
Led light fitted to brighten the shower area and some chrome grab rails fitted to enable easier usage.
... One very happy customer, thrilled that she can now safely shower unaided.

Bathroom renovation in a lovely period country cottage.
Bath relocated to allow for a new larger walk in shower, new wc, basin with vanity unit relocated and duel fuel towel radiator. Floor fully tiled, tiled around the shower with new mixer shower. New fan fitted with LED downlighting, switches moved to outside of the bathroom. Mirror light over basin fitted. New skirting boards.
A very high spec bathroom completed with a stunning finish.
Bathroom and heating installation in Richmond. Lovely old property next to the castle fully renovated to a holiday let.
