It’s with great sadness and regret too announce that from this week Steve’s Soup House will be no more.
For anyone who knows me will know I’ve not been too well lately. I’ve had mumps! As well as an infection on the side of my face. This accompanied with the lifestyle of a solo sole trader has not made the venture easy to say the least.
It’s not been an easy decision to make.
... A massive thank you is in order for all the regulars and supporters of the cafe who I’ve made dear friends with over the months. To the mentors and advice givers who have helped me out along the way. I have learned a lot and will be taking this on to my next venture what ever it may be.

So along with being ill, I now also have an infection that has consumed one side of my face. As much as I want to be in the cafe serving coffee and boss sarnies I’ve been told to stay home till at least Friday. Sorry for inconvenience, I’m still trying to get cafe open ASAP. Will keep you posted.

Yet again... Another lovely lunch with coffee and mint tiffin ( to die for) to finish... This is fast becoming my fav lunch place :)

Love this place. Yummy vegan food, fabulous chocolate tiffin and Steve is so welcoming. Food is freshly prepared and reasonably priced. Sandwiches are delicious but also tried a sample of the soup and it was lovely. A great , independent addition to Bold St.

I enjoyed spicy parsnip soup with a hummus and red pepper toasted sandwich - very tasty followed by the last piece of chocolate tiffin (it was a certain type but I can’t remember) topped with a chocolate ganache, perfect to enjoy with a cappuccino. Reasonably priced too.

Best coffee in town! Bravo to Steve and the team!
