We know it's only September but as so many people have asked us about seeing Santa already we thought it would be sensible to put some details up!

We took our kids aged 19 months and 6 to see Santa on Christmas Eve at the wimborne centre, they absolutely loved it and so did we. Santa was very friendly, talking to the kids and us about Christmas. Amazing service, the walkway was fantastic, a lot of effort being made by Stewarts to ensure everyone has the best time. Would definitely recommend! ’┐Į

User

We had our visit to Santa with my 2 year old on Sunday and we had a lovely time! We were greeted warmly and were allowed to go in a bit early as there was no queue and we were early getting there.

The walkway was beautiful and engaging and my boy loved it - he was excited about seeing Santa and had already decided the other SantaŌĆÖs he had seen were just helpers. However - a couple of chosen words and favourite toy guesses from this Santa had our boy with his eyes wide in belief and it made the whole event completely magical!

Visited on the Thursday eve for their late evening opening. We ate dinner, had a lovely meal, live music was great too. Recommend a visit ¤æŹ¤Å╗

Our new local garden centre, a free coffee with one bought before 10 & shared an enormous cherry scone with my mum! ¤śŗFriendly staff, looking forward to future visits!

User

My husband & I along with our dog enjoyed looking around your very festive Christmas department yesterday. Was lovely to see so many other well behaved dogs there too. We sat outside where we warmed up with a lovely hot cup of cappuccino & biscotti biscuits. We are looking forward to opening the huge jar of pickled onions & jar of chutney that we purchased ready for Christmas.

User

Lovely place to visit, we visit most weekends, great selection of plants and shrubs and after a walk around we always enjoy a nice hot drink and a cake which are amazing.

User

Had a problem with a plant that we had bought in April. After being in a few weeks ago and talking to the house plants team we sent a couple of pics to show the issues. Zoe emailed us back and today we took the plant back for her to have a look. With no hesitation we were refunded for the plant. I am very impressed with their customer service and the whole garden centre as a whole. Fantastic knowledge and amazing plants

User

First visit to Broomhill near Wimborne.

Very pleased with the North pole experience

Attention to detail was excellent, good toy from father Christmas and friendly staff, and wonderfull reindeer.

Christmas dinner was very good, we were first in the cue...so hopefully the choice and standard was the same by the end of service.. as very busy..

User

A magical place for Xmas we go each year and are never disappointed, the whole experience was amazing and the lady who did the face painting was phenomenal I would highly recommend ¤æŹ¤Å╗

User

Took my grand children to see Santa, He spent time talking to each one of them (4 children in total) didn't feel rushed at all. One if the presents wasn't suitable but the staff were very happy to replace it with one more suitable for his age. Lovely photos, would definitely recommend it ’┐Į

User

Today we visited your Santa.

We were so dissapointed I almost cried with the amount of money I paid. We were in with Santa less than 60 seconds. Santa's beard was mega wonky. He was talking but his beard was swung round to his cheek. I brought a picture as it was my son's 1st pic with Santa but I can't put it up or show anyone as I'm so embarrassed. The toy was cheap and the thread is coming undone on it. So it's not suitable for a 6month old. There was no magical atmosphere. There was nothing. A quick walk through a cold walkway to a wooden hut. And when I say we were less than 60 seconds that was no lie!! There was no talking to the kids, it was in.... sit, smile, a quick pic, get down, grab your present from a Stuart's member of staff on the way out. It was heart breaking. The young girl on the photo desk obviously doesn't like her job either.... rude! I would like a reply from management. I was told it wasn't worth the money.... wish I had listened !!!!

User

Came for dinner once the girl could be bothered to serve us it was fine although her and another server did talk to each other rather than us. The meal was really lovely my husband had steak and mushroom pie and I had the chilli.

As for the actual garden centre that's fine with lots of variety.

User

I was very disappointed yesterday when we came for breakfast at around 10am as the bacon was so hard we couldn't even cut it and the fried bread jumped off the plate when we cut it. We both suffered with stomach aches when we got home. .

User

Friday 15th - Although the electric was back on by the time of our appointment we had an equally dismal time - freezing cold , grumpy elf on the door and rushed in and out in a couple of minutes. Obviously there had been too many people booked into the 15 minute slot so everyone had to be rushed through . WeŌĆÖve been coming to StewartŌĆÖs for years to visit Santa and itŌĆÖs always been magical but this will be our last time ’┐Į. Oh another thing ....the whole reindeer area smelt of wee ’┐Į

User

Waste of money. Was told not to book the Santa as it's dissapointing but no one could have prepared me on how much of a dissapointing experience it would be. Less than a minute in with a wonky Santa.. .. rude staff... cold and damp walkway. And wow.... a very cheep and nasty toy. Never been anywhere where the staff are so grumpy and unhelpful. And wants the point of taking a note of the kids names when Santa asks them any way.. ... " Santa's meant to know all kids names" !!! The elf could of at least told Santa their names. Seriously there was more magic and joy in Asda with a member of staff dressed up talking to the kids handing out sweets....and it was free.... not almost ┬Ż20! Terrible. And to charge adults ┬Ż1 Is just money grabbing. It's expensive and hardly any thought. Poor show

User

If I could give 0, I would! I work with adults with learning disabilities, we went for a morning out here and the reception of the staff was, unfriendly and Damn right rude! It made the day a very unpleasant one for us as staff and the individuals we had with us!

First of all the manager of the grotto wouldn't let us through as it was to 'busy' and pulled one of our individuals out of the walk through after the worker said we could go throgh which could of caused us a few issues (luckily we managed it ok) to then go to the cafe for the staff to talk about us and just be Damn rude to us and the individuals, will not be returning!! Not a family friendly place at all!

User

I pre booked to take my 2 children to visit santa on the 15th December (closest we could get to xmas) I travelled from kinson by bus (2 buses) took day off work and took my child off his last day of term. On arrival I was informed that there was no power so there was no lit up walkway to see father xmas just a cold dark trail to see santa sat in a wooden box in what looked like an outside smoking hut. I asked for a refund as I paid for a xmas experience for my children that wasn't provided. They said they would refund me but I couldn't take the children to see santa. The whole 70minute journey on the buses my 2 year old girl was so excited to see santa I couldn't turn around and leave her disappointed. They offered to rebook me but would be before 10am but I can't take more leave off work and risk more disappointment so I felt I had no other choice but to continue with the visit which was just appalling. The children were so dissatisfied with the experience I had no pretty pictures of the wonderland lights just a cold trail. I know it wasn't there fault but if they couldn't provide the whole experience I paid for they should of made allowances for that day for the people that had paid and turned up to see santa and refunded the amounts as they weren't upholding their side of the deal here! They sat for less than 2 minutes with santa no questions of what they would like for xmas just a rushed experience in total. They also gave my 2 year old her present that was aged for 3-7 year olds when they asked for her age at booking stage and on arrival! Totally disheartening and won't be going back next year with them. There was no empathy just rude staff passing the buck to the electricity suppliers! No notice of this on there website or Facebook pages either! Totally a dismal Christmas experience and massive let down to a 2 year old girl! Visiting santa should be exciting and magical and this was a far cry from that no effort made at all really complete shambles and will be calling to discuss

This with a manager that has customer care skills u like the staff that poorly handled the situation yesterday! And as for the reindeer don't Get me started xx

User

I am sorry to say we went for a meal on 12th November and decided on a roast as always had lovely food but on this occasion the food wasn't very hot and also served on cold plates so by the time we finished it was very nearly cold. We will be going again and hope to not be disappointed.
