User

Stibby and motorbikes - perfect match

User

What’s not like, good food, cooked fresh and they don’t sting you for it, also open 24 hrs....can’t go wrong ...👍🏻

User

Well not been for a long while but that all day breakfast was champion but hot will pop in again well done 10 out of 10

User

Spot on! Perfect little spot for trips to London. Nice food & warm showers

User

Place is spot on. Staff spot on and make you feel welcome. Young girl cooks fit chips. Recommend stopping. Parking bloke with dodgy leg, spot on aswell. All in all good place to park.

User

Our favourite stop between Leeds and London - best bacon & egg sandwich ever and proper mugs of tea

User

Just pulled off the A1 for a late lunch at Stibbington Diner. It didn’t disappoint; delicious food, served by friendly & efficient staff. The liver & bacon casserole was almost better than Mum used to make, as was the jam roly-poly pudding & custard. We opted for a traditional meal but there was lots of choice. The building is pleasantly a bit old fashioned; just the diner - no wide echoing spaces over stuffed with expensive ‘special offer’ animal neck pillows! Yet the facilities are good with nice loos, a shower & overnight parking. A relaxing, happy stop for sure; we’ll be back. Thankyou Stibbington.

User

I pull up at this stop every time im heading south when possible as the further services are a joke.

Yeah the washrooms could do with an upgrade but its a quality truckstop in a dying breed.

Laybys are full of our foreign compatriates and services are overpriced and look down on us drivers.

A stibbington on every main route in the country you wouldnt go far wrong.

Oh as for the little brummy fella doing the parking hes a star.

User

Great food just the place to put your feet up after a long day.

User

Amazingly my first time I've been here. Considering all the times we used to drive up and down the A1 on the way to visit the mother in law when she lived in London. Not a fancy venue but if you want good honest grub, try this little gem.

User

good food @ good prices. old school comfort. I like staying there.

User

Stopped here a few times now plenty of parking for the truck, food is good toilets ok not tried the showers yet.Better than staying at a rip off services that’s for sure

User

Stop here if I'm heading for the Peterborough area. Friendly staff and the scampi was pretty good to be honest. Much better than the rip off services down the road. Pot holes could do with sorting as it's a bit like doing a rally stage but that's my only complaint

User

Stay here whenever I'm on route to london or the south i find the staff very pleasant foods good you get plenty.and its hot could do with a coffee machine and an update on the showers but hey its a truck stop thats open 24 hrs a day what more do you want you get what you pay for i for one will be parking here again

User

Now established half way stopover on our trips between Teesside and Eurotunnel. Called in on way home recently, ordered a breakfast and sandwich (bacon/sausage). Cheerful lady serving was very accommodating with tweaks to standard order. Breakfast not quite up to normal outstanding quality this time (egg/bacon overdone), and cook seemed to have the world's troubles on his shoulders. However this will be our stopover diner of choice for the forseeable future as the service/ facilities/ value for money are all on the mark.So much better than Little Chef of major services if you just want some real food, at a reasonable cost, and a rest in plain but pleasant surroundings.

User

Good parking friendly People good food and nice price..

Only think they have a problem with ventelation in the kitchen because we,our clothes and car smels like we have baked chips..

User

warm, welcoming and clean. Perfect place to meet up with people...food ok, if a little dear, although it is off the A1. I've had better bacon rolls...nice though, just not enough bacon lol

User

Our first time visiting this diner so was quite pleased to see more options for those that don't eat fry ups. Cakes and bakes were available, even salad was on the menu for a lighter lunch. The place was clean (even the toilets) and tables were cleared quickly, the staff pleasant and helpful, and busy which was good to see for any business. Would use the diner again for a lunch/break stop on our travels. We were motorbikers so good to note that there was a level tarmac carpark for non-truckers.

User

Not a bad place to park. The parking area is full of potholes & mud. Not nice if like me you like to keep your truck clean. The showers werent brilliant. The food although a bit expensive was definately top class. The service was friendly too. I would choose Colsterworth over this place purely for being able to park on level ground & tarmac.

User

Had to wait 45mins for 2english and 1scrambeld egg on toast. Not suite if I would go again.

User

HGV parking a bit better now its been levelled up food good but could be bigger helpings. on the whole ok

User

Food was okay

But had a hostile welcome because I was wearing a suit and lanyard/badge. They thought I was an official coming to do a check on them. Made me wonder why they would be hostile and what are they afraid of?

User

Food not bad .showers are an absolute disgrace. Will not be stopping again until they have refurbished the place.

User

Food is ok, staff friendly but gents toilets are always filthy and urinals blocked and the smell is disgusting.

Had a container box broken into while parked there .

User

The staff need training in customer services. Stibbington, you are in the service industry. Your customers should come first. They don’t. Rudeness and surliness come high up on the menu, I’m afraid. The food was a bit iffy as well. Don’t have the fish, it was obviously the cheapest they could buy.

User

The car show side of things was good and the people were friendly, the experience was ruined by a surly chef with no people skills who talked to me like it was an inconvenience that I was in his diner, virtually threw our breakfasts at us. Would not eat there again.

User

Rubber eggs over cooked sausages cold beans and forgot my bread ... the tea was nice thou all for £7-50 ouch ......

User

Pulled in both. Went for a shower and the water was all over the floor outside where your meant to get dry and changed. Then the bloke behind the counter was about as happy as hitler. Things have gone down hill here since my last visit to be fair I think the menu has gone down hill too. This use to be a welcoming place now feel like we are a burden. If anyone from the management would contact me to discuss please feel free

User

It's a shame places like this are dying out.

I haven't been in heee for probably 20 years.

I stopped off with the wife, she was not happy ( she wanted a costa) anyway, she had a bacon butty I asked for a omelette with chips and beans and recieved peas.

To be fair, when I pointed this out, the cook offered to swap.

Looking at the other reviews, the place gets about 50/50 poss and neg.

I would consider getting a real coffee machine.

We have moved on from cheap instant coffee.

Could do better, but I'm glad you're still there.

User

Gone down hill a lot since we last called there last year everyone else in party ad finished theres before we got ours we ordered 1st and mine was a salad .seam to fill plate with veg and less pie plate was swimming in gravy

Prices have gone up .paid £7.10 for a tuna salad exhausionate for what you got

User

Food was not the best but OK. Showers out of order. Two of the three toilets blocked and the 3rd one had no toilet paper! In need of some improvements. . 22.feb.2018 at 7pm

User

Cheap Ingredients, smelly toilets, dust bowl & uneven parking area, questionable hygiene, table sauces watered down with god knows what, very expensive for what you actually get!!

User

Called in for a burger to take away. It tasted ok but at £4.25 for just a burger with nothing else I thought it was very over priced.

User

£18 for parking and don't even get a free brew with your grub or shower, load of bollox won't be back..rip off..

User

Very expensive for what you get I don't mind paying their prices if the food is good but it's expensive and very poor never again

User

They have no power and no food and they are still making drivers pay 2 park up piss take

User

The toilet were minging. And the food was not the quality from a transport cafe. Must changed management because the last time we came here it was really great food etc. But the chef needs pumping can’t cook.

User

Staff so depressed! Had a mix gill steak was over done! Coffee in morning shit £1:50 it was worth 50p bloke was on a downer ! Will not stop here again not even for breakfast!

User

Shit attitude, not prepared to alter menu choice even when it would've worked in their favour!! I asked for omlette peas and salad to be told they couldn't substitute chips with salad and i would be charged £1.95 extra for side salad, taking an already expensive meal of to nearly £10!! Greedy owners spoiling a place again, Colsterworth from now on with the rest of the unhappy customers i see have left reviews!!

User

Me n hubby Ordered an all day breakfast @£7.50 each and £1.30 extra for a portion of mushrooms and can honestly say IT'S THE WORST WE'VE EVER HAD ..... the sausages were absolutely vile, the mushrooms took 5 napkins to drain the grease off them, the bacon was under cooked ,the bread wasn't fresh ....

Hubby waited all day for this as last time he came the food was amazing not anymore

Very disappointed

User
