Since starting this little business I have had the pleasure of getting to know lots of lovely customers and the creative community in leamington they have encouraged me, supported me and given me some great platforms to sell and promote my work. Still in love with these little scissors available in black and gold as well as the colourful ones! They are great because they have a small tip to get in close but large handles so you don’t feel like you are trying to shove your fingers through 🤣

Don’t get me wrong love to socialise and talking to people is one of my fave things but on a night like tonight I really am feeling the sentiment and enjoying my pjs and slippers on the sofa 🤣

I haven’t shown my face around here for a while so here I am!
I’m Louisa and I live in Leamington in the UK with my husband and two little ones, I started Stitch Happy full time in April when I left my job as an Interior Design manager- before that it was a side hustle! I love textiles, sewing and embroidery and am passionate about sharing this with others.
... I create embroidery kits, one of a kind textile pieces and sell sustainable fabrics and embroidery accessories on my website. I also teach sewing and embroidery workshops and am excited to have some new workshops coming up this year including some sustainable stitching! I care very much about the sustainability and ethics of what I am selling and try to source the best I can! Recycled packaging, ethical and sustainable fabric and hoops and needles made in the UK.
This year I am planning to buy no new clothing and stitch my way to a more sustainable wardrobe.. I hope I can resist!
I love growing my own veg, cooking, and generally making stuff and am super excited to be welcoming some chickens to my clan very soon.
I have already met loads of inspiring and lovely people in my journey so far and hope to see you at one of my workshops or chat on here soon xxx

By popular demand (this was the one most of you said you would like to do! ) the cross back apron workshop is now on on my website unfortunately I didn’t make these and they are beautiful but I don’t seem to be able to find who did so I can credit them☹️ I’m just making a sample for my workshop and wanted to know if you preferred the first one with the square back or the second more rounded shape? I would really love your input into what classes you would be interested in from the list below? Anyone who gets back to me by commenting on this post by 9pm Monday 13th Jan with which classes they would be interested in will be entered into a draw to win a free embroidery kit w...orth £25.
