EVENTS // Chorlton Repair Cafe is tomorrow! Thanks to our awesome volunteers, you can expect help with bikes, clothes and furniture items. PROJECTS // It’s Mental Health Awareness Week, and also the halfway point of our Bee Well Crafternoon courses in Chorlton and in Gorton.
This week we’d like to take this opportunity to celebrate all Bee Well Crafternoon participants. Everyone attending faces one or more mental health challenges in their lives and for some, just leaving the house is a daunting prospect. So we hugely appreciate everyone’s efforts in coming to the sessions.
We get together each week to create be...autiful things from reclaimed textiles. Thus far we’ve worked on visible mending, crochet, printing and this week, machine sewing. We’re having the best time working on this project. Thank you to both groups for all of your energy and enthusiasm and for making the sessions such a joy! #mentalhealthawarenessweek
