Without this place, Wendy & staff I don't know what I would of done, I can't thank them enough for saving my mind & wedding. Wendy made all bridesmaid dresses from scratch & with very short notice after my bridal shop didn't do my alterations correctly Wendy took the time to sort it, with several hours to go. I will always be grateful.

Wendy did a fab job with my wedding dress alterations last July, reducing the length and also adding in some semi permenant panels at the sides which I could remove after the ceremony. x

Wendy altered my wedding dress to an incredibly high standard. She is an absolute artist. She made me feel so comfortable & reassured in her care. I would definitely be recommending Wendy to anyone who asks. Excellent. Thank you. X

Wendy altered my wedding dress and my bridesmaids dresses and did an absolutely amazing job. Wendy was recommended by a friend of ours who had her wedding dress and bridesmaids dress altered by Wendy and I'm so glad I picked Wendy. She made me feel totally at ease leaving my dresses with her. She made my girls dresses look exactly how I had imagined them and they got lots of compliments on them! I would definitely use Wendy again and would 100% recommend her!

Lovely, polite, speedy and personable service - they always answer the phone (when open) and are always on time for appointments. Fantastic quality of tailoring too: my dress was transformed from 'a bit loose and ripped here and there' to flawless and flatteringly fitted, all at an extremely reasonable price.The icing on the cake: Wendy carefully packed my dress into a trolleybag for me (a feat I thought impossible!) so that I could hand-carry it on the flight to our destination wedding :) A stress-free, superb experience. I used Stitches for the alterations to my wedding dress on the run up to our wedding in August ,after using them a few times previously for other minor repairs and alterations on other garments. They were very efficient and had a very reasonable turn around time. I have already recommended them to family and friends who have since used Stitches and been very complimentary about price and quality of work.

I can highly recommend stitches. After having a mini meltdown about my bridesmaid dress with it not fitting the lady managed to alter it to a perfect fit. I felt so comfortable and stunning yesterday in my dress. Thank you so much

I buy a lot of vintage and second hand that I have altered to fit properly and I take all my stuff here. They always do EXACTLY want I want. (Been to other places and they're nowhere near as good as Stitches).
