About Stithians Lake
Stithians Lake offers a variety of activities for all ages and abilities, from a walk in the countryside to watersports. fishing, cycling and camping.
Stithians Lake Description
Stithians Lake in Cornwall is one of the windiest inland waters in England. It's not surprising therefore that it is a favourite with windsurfers and sailors alike.
We provide tuition, launch and hire for windsurfing, sailing and kayaking as well as having a climbing wall and archery range on site.
Stithians Outdoor + Active Centre is an RYA Recognised training centre so you can be assured the windsurfing and sailing equipment and tuition are of a high standard.
There is a campsite on site with great views out over the lake. Why not extend your stay and make the most of the activities available on site. Whether you are interested in watersports or simply wish to enjoy the views and wildlife whilst exploring the lake, there is something for everyone at Stithians.
Company Overview
Stithians Lakes is managed by South West Lakes Trust, the region’s largest combined environmental and recreational charity. Its 50 inland water sites, spread across Devon, Cornwall and West Somerset, attract in the region of 2m visits annually.
Mission
The main aims of the Trust are to provide education to the public about flora, fauna, ecology and the conservation of the vulnerable ecosystems that surround the lakes. Providing access to people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities is a priority throughout our programs and activities.

South West Water and SW Lakes invite you to The Stithians Centre on 6 November (7.00pm - 9.30pm) to find out more about biosecurity, invasive non-native species and discuss what we can all do to help prevent their spread.
Presentations will focus on some of the key issues of invasive non-native species and the most current and effective biosecurity methods. Workshops sessions will provide an opportunity for us to discuss the best options for biosecurity facilities at our lake...s so we can help protect them and our sports.
This is a free event for anyone who uses our lakes for sport or recreation.
