Good and friendly with pub next door but no light in shower outside

Got all the basic essentials for caravan ing, shower, hot water, toilet waste disposal, drain for dirty water and take on fresh. Level parking on grass. Laundry provided. Quiet site.

Really good campsite, quiet area some really lovely walks. All staff really nice and Lynne was super helpful with everything we needed and absolutely lovely. Ended up staying here after our car broke down and was being fixed on the mainland. Can't recommend enough 😊😊😊😊😊

Before I start, I will echo other reviews; if you are expecting an immaculate touring site with entertainment and facilities, look elsewhere.

However that is not what this site is about. It is a quiet campsite, very convenient for Tennyson Down, Freshwater, The Needles, etc - it is split into several 'fields' and there are no marked roads (other than the main one through the site) or pitches - it is pick your own spot.

The welcome from the young woman on reception was friendly and helpful, and the shop looks stocked with those oft forgotten items!

Showers could do with a renovate - the water was hot all the way through my 6.30am shower when I couldn't sleep, but by 9am it was hot/cold/hot/cold - and I was watched by a big spider while having a shave, but they were clean, and checked regularly.

Totties chippie in Totland is walking distance, and despite the low rating was actually very good, and Fatima's Indian takeaway in Freshwater was amazing if you don't mind a short drive.

Honestly, it's a matter of when I come back, not if!
