Stocking Farm Caravan Site

Basic but all you really need. This is our second time here. More to follow.

Basic facilities and a few electric hookups. Close to the village pub and 5min drive / 30min walk to Curbar edge. Also need to pay 20p for having a shower which is noy included in the price...

Stayed at Stocking Farm this weekend, idyllic setting, lovely & quiet but I think for £15 pn for tents & £17 for caravans with electric hook up they could a least spruce up the toilets/showers & replace the dodgy locks on the toilets that are clearly a problem due to the amount of people complaining, it doesn't cost the earth to replace a lock & maybe a sign near the main road would make it a little easier to find!

not a level site ,very basic but loo and shower were clean.Few electric hook ups.Tight driveway for motorhome.Very quiet and close to village pub.

Great location and setting but facilties are basic.

I have also been going to this site for many years at varying times of the year, it's such a beautiful place and run by the loveliest lady you could ever meet... the site is always clean and well looked after, so I could never have any complaints about this site.

With luck i will be taking my family for years to come too.
