About Stoke On Trent City Centre Partnership

The CCP represents the businesses and stakeholders in Stoke on Trent City Centre. We are a frequent voice on local media on behalf of our members. Evidence of the strength and influence of the partnership can be found in its members which include Intu Potteries Centre, Realis Estates (Unity Walk), The Sentinel, Signal Radio, Cineworld, Ambassadors Theatre Group (Regent and Victoria Hall), Royal Bank Of Scotland, The Moat House, McDonalds, Knights Solicitors, Strategi Solutions, Quality Hotel, Potteries Museum & Art Gallery, The Potter's Club, Cross Rhythms City Radio, Mitchell Arts Centre, The Business Crime Reduction Partnership and others. In addition the CCP works closely with Stoke on Trent City Council: two Councillors attend the Core Group meetings (Cllr Jack Brereton & Cllr Anthony Munday); and council officers for regeneration, events, tourism, planning, licensing and other departments attend Core Group and Subgroup meetings. The CCP is actively engaged with the council in city centre relevant topics for example in consultation for public realm developments; contributing to decisions on signage in and to the city centre; in seeking solutions for issues such as anti-social behaviour and disorder; in partnering for city centre events such as the Christmas Lights Switch On; and in actively supporting and participating in initiatives such as European City of Sport and UK City of Culture.
