Excellent food, drink & service today, we had the afternoon 2 course offer for £9.95 steak pie followed by crumble. Great selection of teas & coffees. Lovely cafe will definitely be visiting again soon :-)

Fantastic service, great selection of coffee and teas. Food is also very good and the premises themselves are of great character. Wonderful!

While on our trip to Lincoln we decided to visit Stokes High Bridge. We were not disappointed. We ordered a white hot chocolate, a pot of tea and scones with clotted cream and strawberry preserve. The scones were served warm and were cooked perfectly, soft on the inside and crisp on the outside. The drinks were also very tasty. Staff looked very smart and were very helpful. The drinks were so nice we bought a bag of coffee to take home. I am looking forward to my next visit here.

As a coffee drinker this place always delivers quality service and superb food.

Another visit to top up my full of beans stock for home espresso and had fish and chips whilst there. Even though busy the staff worked well and were polite and professional. Oh and the food was great.

Visit the High Bridge Cafe regularly, always sit on the second floor as I find the view and the staff on there most pleasing.
Ordered roast pork roast lunch which was cooked to perfection, it was accompanied by carrots, green beans, braised red cabbage, stuffing, roast potatoes, mash and a thoroughly delicious gravy...all washed down with 2 mugs of blue mountain coffee.
The quality of food is consistent and comes at a competitive price in comparison to other local, comparable menus.
I have to praise the male waiter on that level, although I do not know his name he is always attentive and polite when engaging with the customers. I am sure he has been employed at your establishment 10 years or more. I was particularly impressed when he helped an elderly lady on with her coat today. Considerations that seem to be forgotten by the majority of hospitality staff today. Very impressed indeed. My favourite lunchtime haunt, highly recommended x
