Stone Lane Gardens Description

An enchanting 5-acre woodland garden on the edge of the Dartmoor National Park in Devon, famous for National Collections of Birch trees and Alder trees and the annual ‘Mythic Garden’ sculpture exhibition. Winner of the Gardener’s World magazine ‘Gardens to Visit SW’ award 2010. The garden has been created over 40 years by the late Kenneth Ashburner, and now a charity has been formed to safeguard this unique collection of birch trees and alder trees. Visit our woodland garden and see the many sculptures, and help support the project by buying an alder or birch tree from our nursery.

Entry to the Gardens is £6 per adult, £2. 50 per child (under 5s free) and £15 for a family ticket.

Annual Friends membership (give you unlimited visits over 12 months plus many other benefits): Individual £30, couple /family £40
