So last September we had the pleasure of meeting Dave and selling him this lovely t5 and carpeting and fitting a poptop. Whilst he made his mind up on how he wanted the inside. Well today we've handed it back to him as a lovely finished campervan. Enjoy many years of exploring.

Having a play making the bed electronic for ease.

We've been having fun transforming this VW Caddy disabled van. Into a 3 to 4 birth campervan. Fully bespoke to fit all this in. But it's coming along very nicely. The cutest camper ever lol. Ideal for people who don't like to drive big vans but still want the camping.

Well what can we say? Having spent many weeks and many miles looking for our first Volkswagen camper we couldn't have found a better place than Stonehouse Campers. Ian and Gary and the rest of the family are the most welcoming, friendly and reassuring bunch of people you could wish to meet and the craftsmanship really is second to none. We have had a roof conversion to a 'pop top', Stonehouse Campers have done a great job-beautiful craftsmanship and great attention to detail- it's totally transformed our van. We will be back for a kitchen next!!!!

Massive thanks to Ian and Gary for the fantastic service in fitting the Wabesto diesel night heater this week. All work was carried out to a superb standard and completed on time and within budget. The heater has been fitted under the vehicle with silencers on both inlet and exhaust, bearly audible inside, with digital control panel that includes timer operation, we now have a van that can be used all year round no matter the weather!

I only bought a van from them, not a conversion, but they went out their way to help me. I couldn't recommend these guys enough. Really pleased I met them both. Cheers Ian & Gary !

Had our van nearly 6 months now, so though I'd review it then to see how everything is to use and live with. To start, the people who work there. Nothing is too much of an ask, you can tell as soon as you walk through the door that they build Campers for the love of it, not to make a profit. We spent months looking for a conversation company and chose to go with Stonehouse for several reasons, the looks and features of the van which seem to surpass all other converters, the friendliness of the staff and overall build quality.The build quality is outstanding, no shakes, no rattles and everthing had a reassuring solid feel to it while still managing to maintain a elegant and sophisticated appearance. All the switches and gauges are very ergonomic, all located in places which can't be accidentally knocked on or off during transit. They are also very easy to use. Our biggest worry was how the van would cope without a heater in cold nights, but after seeing the level and quality of insulation used, we had no worries at all. However we will be going back to install a heater, to which we have no issues with the guys wanting to fix it in, just for those winter camp outs in Scotland! Lighting within the van is very customisable, the blue 'mood' lights provide a very modern and warming glow which is perfect in an evening to play cards and drink beer to. The main lights have individual touch sensors to turn off so you can adjust the light to your exact needs, and the under counter led strip tops it off with a bright illumination of the draws and cupboards. To summarise, I cannot fault the conversion one bit and would recommend this to ANYONE who was even thinking about having a van converted. You can see the effort that these people really put in when you see the finished product. Well worth the investment!. Would definitely use these guys again in the future within a heartbeat.
