We walked in yesterday just for a drink , we sat outside which was nice . On looking at the menu we ordered food the menu is fantastic lots to suit all tastes and reasonably priced. My Daughter and I had pizza which was freshly cooked and massive !! (But really tasty) my Husband had a burger equally tasty and fresh . The atmosphere was chilled and the staff were very friendly made our weekend away we will be back .

Was looking for somewhere to eat for lunch on Easter Sunday, and stumbled across this place. We only had to wait ( minutes for a table considering they were very busy at the time. The service was excellent, and the carvery was just what we were looking for. The food was very freshly cooked and hot with lots of choice. I would definitely eat there again.

The hotel is located in the middle of everything that u need the staff are very friendly and always willing to help nothing was too much trouble for them the hotel rooms spotless clean and the food was amazing they all work very hard all day long good team work all see u soon thank you all for making it a good weekend

Thank you to Stones and their staff for their hospitality over the last couple of days. My friend and I were in Minehead for a business trip however due to the snowy conditions we were not able to fulfill this. Stones were very accommodating and when we checked out and asked if there were rooms available in case we couldn’t get home, they said they would hold the room. Also a member of staff that offered us a room for the night at their house. Great food, great atmosphere and of course lovely red wine 👍 thanks you all

Staff and rooms are excellent and go above and beyond for us even sending my little boys favourite teddy back to us can't thank them enough xxx

It was actually good. We had booked it on line and when we arrived we thought...oops. BUT staff were friendly the place quiet and clean and roomy. Breakfast was enormous and tasty. We would recommend it to others and would stay again

Had a lovely evening, friendly staff, great food especially the pizza I had, the wife opted for Lasagna which was tasty, then we sat in the bar and had a few drinks, can't fault.

Fabulous breakfast cooked to order. Savouries and pastries freshly baked. Coffee was hot and strong. Toast and preserves and good quality fruit juice too. Staff very friendly and helpful. Comfortable seating.

Considering it's Easter Sunday and very few places are open on for dinner, we decided to try Stones for a change as I liked the idea of their freshly made rustic wood fired stone baked pizzas. Boy was I not disappointed, picked a great seat and watched the chef's at work, pizzas arrived at the perfect eating temperature, no burnt tongues on the first bite but still retained their heat until we finished. I must say that it was the best pizza I have had in the UK. My only thing would be next time to cut the olives in half as they kept rolling around off the pizza but nothing a knife couldn't fix, and lovely having green olives on a pizza fora change instead of tasteless black olives. Overall, next time I'm in Minehead I'll definitely be revisiting!

Can't believe we've been visiting Minehead for over 15 years and we only discovered Stones last year!

As soon as you walk in, the decor is gorgeous, seating comfy and it is very spacious. Staff are very welcoming and the food is delicious. Good choice of dishes and very generous portions.

A great place for dining, drinking, playing pool, and just chilling.

Came to the Madness weekend and just had to have a carvery Sunday!! Booked a table for 6 and was not dissapointed in the slightest. The chef was friendly,funny and accomodating, the manager was really helpful and the carvery was delicious. Would definitely recommend to anyone going to minehead. Thank you

Amazing food, huge portions and very friendly staff

Accommodating and friendly for our large unexpected group booking on a Saturday night. Food choices were good and prices reasonable. Prompt service from ordering to eating. Would definitely considering eating here again for future family gatherings �

There was two us ( my wife and i) we ordered our steaks with sweat potatoe frys and peppercorn sauce. Very good service the bar lady was very nice polite and very helpful.

The food was hot and tasted ( bloody ) lovely the only thing we could fault was the salad or should i say the lack of salad in the salad all we got was a baldly chopped lettuce and nothing else.

So if i was marking out of ten i would have to give a 9 because of the salad

Service is good. But should recognise locals more often. Been drinking there 6 hours tonight, plus the 8th time I've been in this summer and have only just been acknowledged as a local which could have made a 30% difference. Madness. Still no loyalty paid. Overpriced pub with a basic menu, very basic! Get yourself a £5 membership at the social club for the cheapest beer, and cleanest beer lines you've drunk from. Thanks. Bye

Food was very good we had four different meals which we had to wait nearly 40 min to get our food then my wife wanted some butter which did not come after 10min had to then asked again for it .would rate the food very high but the service was very very poor
