When in cambridge i always eat here. Beautifull place, amazing food, great staff and reasonably priced. 5 Stars

Nice and quiet place to have lunch

Very good for convenience. Cambridge Strada has a quite simply excellent manager(ess).

Went with 3 friends on Saturday at lunch time (2 of them visiting from the US). We were half greeted at the desk, when I was told "wait 2 minutes" while asking for a table for 4. She walked off, returned about 3 minutes later and went "how many?", I'm already annoyed by this point now! (She wasn't looking for a tablet for us, more "fiddling about!")

We tried to sit down, put bags on floor and take coats off and she's asking us what we all want to drink?......."Shall I take my coat off and sit down before deciding?" I asked. She was angry herself by this point.

Next came the food order, from what seemed to be a manageress (she had jailers keys syndrome - I got loads of keys on my hip jingling and annoying everyone, there for I have authority!)



I ordered 3 courses, after ordering my starter, I went to order my main and said "Can I order the Ste......", with that she shouted, "How do you want it cooked?". I looked around the table at friends, then up to waitresses/manageress, and went, "What my starter?" (Which was goats cheese), and she shouted, "No! The steak!", so I said "If you had let me finish ordering properly, I would of knew what you ment!" ( I ordered it medium in case you were wondering!)

I also ordered Tiramisu with cream there and then, just for ease.

1 hour 40 minutes later, 2 basic starters, 4 mains, 4 soft drinks and a cancelled dessert (I wasn't waiting around any longer) we asked for the bill, £58 - cost was no issue, it's when 1 of my American friends that said, "What about a tip?", I said "We only tip in the UK for good service, lets go!"
